Scrubs that use Thorn/Shotgun/Rocket..
is there not a part of you that even feels a little bit bad for using such cheap weapons & destroying PvP right now?
I know that if I was running that combination of weapons, and winning easily because of the weapons and not my own skill, I'd feel pretty weak.
I won't stop using ARs, because they're fun, and it's a challenge, but still the amount of players on this game that are using those weapons right now is disheartening to say the least, it's almost as bad being on a team full of thorn users, because kills are scarce and easily stolen.
Edit: Right now there are two groups of people that I see and the big change in september will have different impacts for both.
There's the scrubs who have terrible stats overall but recently are doing well because they have super OP weapons & when the nerf comes they will be hit hard, sent back into their terrible stat world with the rest of the bandwagon garbage.
And there's the veteran players, who are chipping away with their trusty ARs, FRs and snipers, awaiting the glorious day when they will return to the top for good, and take a big shit on all you thorn users.

The problem is kill boxes that are over sized and aim assist..... But I've said it before how else is deej going to get a kill in pvp

quit using guns its ruining the game and stop using overpowered fists that take half my health in one hit. play like real pros and just stand there looking at your enemy.

If the whole lobby is rocking thorns/tlw then I'm busting out thorn, or if my team is dead weight, and I have to go tryhard carry mode, I'm definitely gonna be using thorn. I've really started liking pulse rifles though after using the messenger for a while, and I'm trying to get good with Red Death now. I'm also working on two mini moon builds; ill will and fulcrum. Playing with Thorn and against other Thorns (exotic hcs in general) definitely gets stale quick, so it's always good to switching things up and add some variety.

Ugh shotgun is not cheap. Thorn is yeah. Snipers are the easiest way to win trials I've never gone flawless without a good sniper. There's very little risk at all at sniping and takes very little grace under pressure. Shotgun is super high risk. It's two different beasts

Ill use whatever is effective and i find fun, couldnt care one bit what someone else thinks of my playstyle, its just a game after all.

DoT abilities (flames/Thorn) 9. blink (not so much just the shotgun) 10. Some buffs/nerfs affecting both pve/pvp

3 RepliesI use Thorn Matador Gjallarhorn/Corrective Measure I couldn't care less if you think this is a cheap setup because it still takes skill to use these weapons. Give a noob these weapons and I can assure you they won't get flawless trials first go.

It annoys me when they do it in normal crucible. I like using lots of different weapon sets to you know have fun. I like just playing around but when you meet full teams of 3 with Tryhard set ups it's so annoying because you have to narrow your load out accordingly.

1 ReplyI don't use Thorn. It's either Last Word or a pulse rifle(Skorri's or Messenger). Shotgun or Sniper depending on the map, but I always have a rocket launcher equipped due to hating LMG's.

If you love ARs, you owe it to yourself to buy the vendor version of the Low Down crucible auto. That is by far one of the most underrated guns right now. A goddamned hidden gem.

3 RepliesI used to enjoy Thorn, then the last patch made all scrubs start using it. This game has sooo many players, but they are all carbon copies of each other. No one stands out.
