Grimoire farming dead?
So my buddy and I both needed pulse rifle kills. We grabbed our bad jujus and headed to crota raid. We got across the bridge in the thrall way and turned around and shot incoming thrall and knights for 3 hours or so.
Later we look at our pulse rifle stats only to see they haven't moved. Then another friend gets on and asks where to farm ogre kills, I give him a spot in the story mission. He goes and kills for awhile and his stat doesn't increase.
Awhile back I was able to sit in thrall way and kill and have it count, now I can't.
It worked and now it doesn't. Anyone else notice this??
Edit 1: awhile back I farmed for vestian kills at the beginning of crota. I know my stats went up cause I was constantly checking to see where I was on it.
Edit 2: apparently raid kills don't count and it was just the app freaking out telling me my kills went up afterwards.

You're doing so many things wrong... First off, raid kills don't count, which is why you didn't get any xp. Second, there are much better places to kill adds efficiently than that spot in the raid... I'm not even sure why you chose that spot in the first place, putting aside the fact that raid kills don't even count lol. Try the dark beyond mission or something instead. Third, kills on [i]majors [/i] and [i]ultras[/i] don't count. Only regular, red bar enemies. Your friend probably selected the heroic version of the mission so a major appeared.

1 ReplySERIOUS ?? I thought it was common knowledge that A - Kills in raids DONT COUNT... And B - Ogre kills MUST be on the LOWEST LEVEL ie the RED BAR Ogre... Sorry man but bit of a NoOb moment !!

WHO NEEDS WEAPON PARTS? Farming on Vog. Anyone wanna join? Makes things go by quicker, and who doesn't want max glimmer right? Doing this so I can get weapon parts thanks to Brother Vance by deleting the sniper.

2 RepliesBest place for any kills: Siege of the Warmind, beginning part where thralls spawn. 50 kills every 1 and half minutes. Then jump of the edge, do NOT kill the major knight on top of the stairs at the entrance to the arena part., The Ogre farm is on Shrine of Oryx and MUST be non-Heroic, so level 8.

LOL kills in the pit don't count bruh. That would have been too easy bungie doesn't let it count if you are in a area with non stop spawning enemies. Nice try tho.

That's has never worked in raids. And for other kills, make sure they are not ultras.

The first section with the tralls, 50 kills = 1 minute, repeat. Granted its not that good for glimmer , but for pulse rifles its very handy. The worst one is the 250 Strikes grim. Although each strike completed counts for 3 done.
