Trials Cheaters are out of control
Met this team last night. Lagging intentionally. All they did was run to the capture point and wait for time to run out. This is pretty much everything wrong with ToO.

8 RepliesIt may seem pointless to some of you to post the name's of cheaters but it's not. For us to compile a list of Cheaters, it would only help us Gamers in the future to identify these people in battle to avoid them. Seems Bungie has come up with no solution thus far. Perhaps we take matters into our own hands. "Name and Shame" may be against the rules but guess what? So is lag switching. What does Bungie expect? That we just sit around and let people cheat? It's infuriating #1 to lose to a cheater who other wise lacks the skill to beat you. #2 To see Bungie almost making rules that work in favor of cheaters. Protecting their names? These people deserve to be exposed. Let's get real here. When someone gets arrested for a crime, their name is posted for the world to see. It's a form of protection. Now we know to avoid this person. Someone should make a side website where a list of compiled names of known cheaters or lag switchers can be access BY THE PUBLIC so these people can be avoided. You want to lag switch and cheat in public gaming lobbies, you will be known by the public for it.

bungie should just not allow you to connect to their game servers if your mtu is below 900... the reason you see this on PSN so much and not Xbox is because Sony lets you change your MTU to whatever you want very easily... Microsoft doesn't allow this because of the potential for abuse.

2 RepliesI agree with you,my fireteam and I went trough the same thing when we were 8-0,just one more point to get into the lighthouse. The exact thing happened: 1."Last Guardian standing" teammates don't spawn with you. 2.Time runs out,capture the zone that we couldn't see,only the Lagswitchers could. All we could do was kill ourselves,luckily we had a mercy of Osiris,but if we didn't obviously we would've gotten 8-1. And I like how even when Bungie says to report the players who do this,you get a "Name and shame" warning whereas you report the player for whatever reason but then they're basically protected by that. It's ridiculous.

Totally know what your talking about I was 8-0 one win and flawless we go up against a 32 34 31 very leggy my friend loses connection my other one didn't move and I can't damage the other team #goodbyelighthouse

I feel you. I don't know if this was just lag or lag switch but these people were hard to kill since they were lagging all over the place. However they could kill us with ease.

It is out of control I was going to go my first flawless( I never really play trials and I'm actually quite good) So anyways I was 8-0 and we were up against a 34,33,32 then my friend got lagswitched out and we lost the match Still kinda pissed at that

This is one of the reasons people don't like to play (Destiny). I'm sure Bungie is at least thinking of ways to deal with this problem, but we could be looking at breech of contract (on the provider's side). There is a very disenfranchised community one the verge of changing games.

I had a team that played legit until we killed the final guy. Used his lag switch and we all went red bar, and the hunter somehow came back to life... We still won tho ;)

Im playing other games, until kruger industrial smoothing-i mean bungie, gets real about their own product. Ive tried to deal with it...but i just cant anymore. Im not having fun. Other people, cheating people seem to be, and that doesnt smooth over with me. Bye Mr Kruger, but i know you dont REALLY care...so whatever, you're not too worried about it.

8 RepliesYou know the cheaters are Bungie employees. They don't want to lose to really good noobs. That is why they don't want you to post names of cheaters. That would ruin their rep. and look bad on their resumes.

1 ReplyThought id put this right here for y'all to read. If you name and shame people here you get banned. But naming and shaming people seems to be the most effective way forwards untill bungie decides to get off its backside and sort this out. We could ban there gt/psn and never, ever be match made with them again. The cheats would be forced to play exclusively with each other. Yes, doing this will get you banned - but only from the forums NOT the game. And if they bam everyone who names and shames from the game as a deterrent from doing it, bungie will quickly find itself minus a player base if we do this together.
