I have noticed that some guys I met in the crucible chooses a girl character, why?
I have noticed OP I met on the forums chooses an exo character, why? At least I assume you're a human in real life.
-
Because it's a character in a video game, it isn't me.
-
Why make a male character if you're a male? Do you like looking at men's butts?
-
Whys it matter?

1 ReplyI think the male warlock looks really stupid. A lot of the robes make him seem like he has the shoulders of bear, and the rest of his body is similarly stocky. Out of all the classes, warlocks use their muscles the least, and so I felt that should be reflected by a slimmer build. The males couldn't provide that, so I made a female instead. TL;DR: Male warlocks look like dwarves...but tall. If that makes sense.

I believe that female characters have a slimmer hitbox compared to male avatars.

8 RepliesTranssexuals but it's easier for them to come out in a video game.

1 ReplyBecause I can't make my male characters look flamboyant

5 RepliesThey are gay

1 ReplyOnly because the Awoken male dance is goofy. I mean imagine if Zavala broke out with that mess while you were talking to him.
-
I do that because pretty much 99% of my characters are male so

Because I'm in for the Dat Ass

Edited by KannibalKlown: 7/13/2015 9:44:48 PMI don't. Except for rare instances where the avatar is a robot (or powered armor) and the female version looks more slick. Halo Reach was one example: male Spartans were big and giant linebackers while female Spartans were actually slender. And no, there was no Spartan-cleavage... it was pretty much big muscle Otto vs slender androgynous robot. The male Exo's aren't too huge so I rolled the male Exo as my main in Destiny. But the best answer I hear (repeatedly) is "If I have to be staring at the avatar's butt for hundreds of hours I might as well look at a girl's butt swaying" And I can't argue with that logic.

You look cute today

I like my characters to be as different from each other as possible. Each on is a different race, and I did choose a female. Just because I feel like my "story" can be a little different on each one. I hope at some point, Bungie makes Gender a part of the story. Right now...not so much.

1 ReplyFemale Awoken are badass.
-
Their* And what does it matter? The female characters are nice to look at during cut scenes, and voice actors aren't bad either.

Secret desire to be caitlin jenner

Honestly the reason I made my hunter a female is because of the different color mask of the third man

5 RepliesFunny story; Guy msg'd me after he got rekt in crucible: "why female character... Go play with your Barbie dolls..." I replied "So, that means your playing with your Ken dolls?" No response. Lol

Because reasons

4 Repliesthought the hunter's pants were a little too tight for a guy, so made it a girl so i dont have firm man-ass in my face when it goes into third person

2 RepliesI dont have a girl friend

To be fairly honest, I don't understand it either. I mean, I understand that people have their own reasons and preferences, but I don't have the same so I don't understand in that matter.

More importantly. Why not? Who cares?
