That is the thing they have used as a place holder for dead ghosts in DLC areas before they were released.

This and several other shells have been in the game since beta, no idea why they are keeping a cosmetic item so far under lockdown lol I saw the whole list of shells on a wiki page, that's why I didn't bother buying the ghost version I figured they would already be in the game. And accessible. But you know we have to be stupid literal with everything now, so shame on me for not looking specifically if the ghost shells were available in game or not. -_- more cut content.

How starved are people for content that they get worked up over a cosmetic ghost shell? I know, how about optional match making and actual story stuff. Now that would be something to celebrate!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but that shell has been in the game literally since day one. Only you had to hack/glitch the game to get it. People have been banned for it. So I'm sorry to say I'm not all that excited they're finally releasing a "new" ghost shell.

According to the same source (once you click the Intrusion Shell) it says it is a source related to Tess Everess. There's not a new ghost shell so much as they are saying "hey, ghost shell." I always hope they put more shells in the game, but right now? It appears this is just recognizing it.
