Who's buying The Taken King?
I'm just curious to find out who's thinking of buying the upcoming DLC; I've seen a lot of people on the forums that are either zealously supporting Bungie or slating everything they've done so far, so I want to see the numbers.

Edit: Some FAQ's
—This DLC is [b]not[/b] included with the season pass
— It is [i]expected[/i] to drop around September time
—'Taken King' is the assumed name of what was previously known as 'Comet'; the supposed title of the upcoming Destiny DLC. Whether or not the official title is 'Taken King' I don't know for sure, but if it makes you feel better, please imagine the title of the poll to be 'Who's buying the next DLC?'

E3 is in a week I'll make my decision then. Basically whatever they show down play it 10 times and that will be comet.

Depends on the price. If it's £20-30 I may go for it. Anything more and i would expect some serious additions

Destiny has flaws. Many flaws. But I think we can all agree that very few games have kept us this interested, so many months after release. At least, not many games released these days. I'll be getting Taken King, or whatever name it finally takes. Will it have it's flaws? Most probably. But Destiny, at it's core, is something beautiful. Despite the flaws, Bungie has shown us that they still have that magic. They've improved the base game immensely since release. I'm looking forward to supporting them going forward, and seeing what they can come up with.

Will get it, they've taken the game in the right direction with HoW and the endgame activities. Also, I'm a lore freak, hopefully we'll learn more about the warminds (Rasputin and Charlemagne, which I think this expansion will introduce) and The Nine.

Yeah of course I mean I'm not completely impressed with the game so far, but I'll support it over its lifetime to get the full experience and if it's not my jam by then I'll just have to move on without destiny 2.

Considering the lack of content in the main game and dlc so far, I'm not sure I'll even be playing this game by then, also depends on the price and what else is coming out around that time.

Well, idk anymore. I'm getting an Xbone soon for Halo 5 and Fallout 4. Will be dropping Destiny for a good while

We will see. To many other games coming out at that time. If it is a glorified dlc, most likely not. Money will be the bigest issue.

12 RepliesTotally undecided - if the rumour of it being £40 ish ($60) then it needs to be quite big, if it's just 6x 30 minute stories, a strike and a raid, then cannot see the point for me as Iron Banner is my prefered end-game activity. If they were to add a new subclass to each character and a new area with patrol then I will get it as that should keep me busy for a while.

I am going to read reviews on the forums before I buy anything else Destiny related. And...I have to see if I get addicted to ESO before tFK is released.

2 RepliesAfter this week I'm done once I get more etheric light for some secondary and heavy weapons. Got 365 fatebringer ghorn word and vision. Plus I'm about to get queen breakers bow. Their is nothing else left in the game for me to grind for. I have all the weapons I want. And arkham Knight comes out this month. For September-December holiday time I'm gonna be busy playing mad max, just cause 3, fallout 4, star wars battlefront and whatever else gets announced at E3.

Depends, If it's $15 for another house of wolves or dark below type them yeah because $15 is cheap If it's 60 for twice as much content than previous dlc then no. I want a huge massive expansion like world of Warcraft level

2 RepliesWell, if it's the 'Destiny 1.5' it's supposed to be then I'll buy it. If it's another pathetic 3 missions and some gear like the Dark Below then I'm done with Destiny.

You're probably going to get it, because with as many flaws as Destiny has, it gets much better each time content is added, simply because there is new stuff to do and look at. Therefore, you have essentially already bought into the "10 year plan" of Destiny. And if HoW and TDB (when combined into vanilla..... TDB was terrible) have turned you off the game, you probably will not, although, it's not unheard of people getting drawn back in. In short, if you're playing now, you'll likely get it, and if you have already stopped, you likely won't.

Not paying $60 for 10 story missions and a strike or 2 if that's the case, they'll probably entice it to Xbox players by saying we get 2 extra strikes and 3 extra guns that won't be ps exclusives anymore, but everyone will get them $60 is a whole game, yes it has been enjoyable and I've never put this much time into a game, but that doesn't mean I'm throwing cash around, make it $60 worth and we'll talk
