I'm just curious to find out who's thinking of buying the upcoming DLC; I've seen a lot of people on the forums that are either zealously supporting Bungie or slating everything they've done so far, so I want to see the numbers.
Feel free to explain your answer below
Edit: Some FAQ's
—This DLC is not included with the season pass
— It is expected to drop around September time
—'Taken King' is the assumed name of what was previously known as 'Comet'; the supposed title of the upcoming Destiny DLC. Whether or not the official title is 'Taken King' I don't know for sure, but if it makes you feel better, please imagine the title of the poll to be 'Who's buying the next DLC?'

2 RepliesThe Taken King? It's all about that Night's King!
-
I'll wait and see.
-
Let me... 19.99?
-
Maybe. HoW has made me play destiny a lot less. There is literally nothing motivating me to play. The loot in HoW is terrible. So if they don't step there game up with taken king I'm out.

Ive really enjoyed this game, ill be buying the dlc for sure
-
Nobody should even be thinking about buying this until we see it at E3
-
6 RepliesIf it costs the same as or similar to past dlcs then by all means, I'll thoroughly enjoy it. Anything upwards of $40 and it'll be a hard pass.
-
I'm buying it for two reasons. 1.) I really enjoy Destiny and keep coming back to it, despite having other games. 2.) I have a ton of unused currency on my MS account, so I might as well spend it on another expansion for a game I'm still playing almost daily.
-
Will be definitely buying it. I'm invested in Destiny and money isn't much of a problem. I enjoy playing Destiny but I've gone down to using one character so I can play other games as well.
-
Depends on the price and what I get with it.
-
3 RepliesIt will depend in how much of the content is exclusionist in nature (i.e. no option to matchmake like ToO and worthwhile PoE).

Edited by sheltont30: 6/7/2015 8:11:56 PMId pay now..,haven't played much of anything else since September 9th. Fallout 4 and Mass Effect 4 may change that some...but absolutely love Destiny and will purchase the next pass as soon as it comes up for pre-order!
-
I buy new games but always come back. I fully enjoy destiny
-
I will wait till an official announcement, to see what it brings. Then make a decision.
-
11 RepliesAll I'm going to say is FALLOUT 4.
-
Yep. I work to pay my way through life and whatever's left over I use on the things I enjoy. I still enjoy playing this game so therefore I shall definitely be buying it.
-
1 ReplyDefinitely not preordering and won't pay more than 20€ unless there's way more content than this DLC
-
I'll wait until after it's released to consider. If it's on the same range as the dark below and house of wolves, then no. By this point there is only one thing I want, and that is story. Story in the actual game. Showing me, not telling me.
-
3 RepliesCertainly not paying in advance until I know what we're going to get this time. But got too many friends who play this not to. So on release date I will probably be 'Shut up and take my money!'
-
Well I certainly won't be preordering
-
1 ReplyI enjoy the game but I've been disappointed way too much by them. I'll but it after I see some reviews
-
1 ReplyWatch bungie hype it all up and turn out like destiny again lol
-
38 RepliesIf discounted heavily on PSN, otherwise not. Feel $20 is far too much for extra bad guy spawn points and gear.
-
1 ReplyI laugh at all of you. You're going to preorder this shit again. As a result, BungieVision will make all their money back before the DLC is even done being developed. Then, just like Destiny, they'll release a crappy, unfinished project because you just couldn't wait to give them your money until the product was actually in stores.

I'm going to say yes, as long as it isn't some ridiculous price like 60$, but in all honesty I may eventually break down and buy it even if it is that expensive. I love this game, just wish the story was less research and more of a narrative. Also I really hope that the servers are better for the sequel.

As long as there is more story then yes I am not interested in the raids
