How the hell are you supposed to reach rank 4 on iron banner?
Inb4gitgud, this game doesnt require skill, just luck at unlocking pathetically op weapons.
Anyway, i've played for nearly 9 hours solid this morning, im barely past rank 2, how long is this thing on for or is that time wasted?
Also is there a way to turn the announcer off?

4 Replies1.) Buy the tempered buff before starting. 2.) Equip an emblem for 10% XP gain (available at rank 1). 3.) Equip a shader for another 10% XP gain (available at rank 2). 4.) Equip the class item for another 10% XP gain (available at rank 4). 5.) Complete all daily IB bounties & hand them in with the tempered buff still active. 6.) Don't lose more than 5 matches (medallions). ...I reached rank 4 in 3 days

have 2 characters already lvl 5 Played my 3rd chracter just 2 hours last night,he is already almost rank 3 Im only average @PvP Easy stuff to do.

Switched to second character and got to rank 3 almost instantly. Switched to 3d character last night. Got to rank 2 in an hour. This my first time playing IB. Didn't play crucible until the 2nd week of HoW.

This ib, if you do bounties on character #1 and get him to rank 3, switch to character #2 and he'll earn double xp on wins and bounties until he reaches three also. .....and grab the boost from salad head

Are you playing halo or destiny? Lord shax doesn't say "lost the lead." He's much more of a dick about it.

It's old so not all the data may be 100% accurate, but it's still my 'go to' for every iron banner. Hit rank 5 everytime I played iron banner by Sunday at the latest. Normally play for a few hours a night after work.

Basically if you get 5 medallions and then win one it will count as 6 wins, try get the bounties done and as a few others said make sure you buy the shader and emblem for extra xp

2 RepliesBuy and equip the shader which adds 10% and the cloak which adds another 10%, and don't quit when your losing, get the medallion at the end and when you win a round those meddalions are cashed in. Use your best weapons and armour and collect those bounties. it all adds up in the end.

Best way is to focus on only holding two capture points and knowing which ones to hold one each map. People like to go for three but unless your opponent is garbage you'll just screw yourself.

Rank 5 on my hunter and 2 and a half on Titan. Just do bounties and play with friends who focus on objectives

6 RepliesI have 3 warlocks. Main is rank 5 and the other 2 are rank 3. So i guess you rank up by playing???? A tip would be to equip the shader, emblem and the class item. They give extra rep. Im not sure about the shader but better safe than sorry Also should mention i started both my 2nd and 3rd today.
