Are Xbox players better than the playstation ones?
So I've been hearing some things that Xbox players are better than playstation players, I play on the Xbox and I get into tryhard lobbies quiet often.

Don't know, as I have only played on the Xbox. I presume play station might have more really keen destiny fanboys as they got it for the exclusives but that doesn't necessarily make them better.

5 RepliesBetter gamers? Not necessarily. Better at FPS? Yes, simply because Halo was so competitive and is really what carried online mp into the mainstream. Playstation FPS has always been more of a great single player experience (killzone and resistance) with added multiplayer while Xbox put a huge premium on Halo's mp. A lot of older Xbox players just have more experience with competitive mp.

Playstation's obviously better because I didn't play on xbox so I know they're bad...joking aside not a lot of people will know unless they have played both consoles, and even then the matchmaking is so random you might have good days and bad days depending on if rng decides to put you up against the legend himself.

I don't know, but considering the volume of 360 players who jumped to ps4 and while smaller, the volume of ps3 players that did the same, I'd imagine this is not a provable question. Now if Sony and Ms got their heads together, and did a yearly event where they allowed cross console competition across a variety of games, then we would know. I will say this. I play bf on both Xbox and ps4, I've never ran into less helpful people than I do on Xbox generally speaking, but on the flipside, I play Madden on both, and find the competition so much better on my xbox.

There's a mixture of both good and bad players on both consoles. Xbox is generally considered to be "more pro" by the kids because CoD and Halo (which are all about dat MLG Dorrito 420 Quickscope Mountain Dew gangsta shit) call it home.

15 RepliesXbox is centered around western entertainment and as such has more and more well known competitive titles like Halo or Gears of War, whereas Playstation is the more general player console with most of its well known titles being more or less for casual play. You'll find players who take winning seriously more often on Xbox than Playstation. The bar for 'skill' is set higher so to speak.
