Got kicked because I'm a guy?
So the other day I joined a group that was doing Crota hard. I got in the game and they said hey (they were all girls) and as soon as I spoke they all started laughing cause I guess they didn't realize that I was a guy when they invited me.
So we go through the raid and I didn't die once but they were constantly making rude remarks about how I suck because I'm a guy and guys don't play video games. I did my best to put up with it but it was just so hard to believe that so many girls disrespect guys on there.
We get to Crota and all of a sudden they all start yelling at the fireteam leader to kick me because I'm a guy and they need another girl so they can actually beat Crota. Needless to say I was not happy about being returned to orbit just because of my gender and I cried myself to sleep that night.
Why can't girls just be accepting like us guys are? :(
[spoiler]I find it interesting how most of the females that have commented are not at all offended and/or play along. While some of the guys are all defensive and angry.[/spoiler]

12 RepliesWow this post really saddened me being a girl myself I can't even wrap my head around the idea that someone would actually do that those girls should be really just disgusted with themselves but unfortunately we have things like sexism even in video games I'm sure it won't be the last time but try to just brush it off next time there are some heartless people in this world that aren't going to care if you are upset girls like that make us look bad lol but I promise we aren't all bad I guess it's just preference because there are girls who prefer to play with guys to and choose not to play with other girls in hope that you don't experience something like that again :(
