No keys = No PoE !!!!
Farming like an idiot for the last 4 days, did not get a single key from anywhere.
What incentive is there for me to tackle PoE 32 and 34? NONE.
How many of you are skipping this event till you actually have a key in your inventory?

The rewards you get for a key are bullshit anyways. You only need it if you have the elder cipher bounty.

Did mine for the cipher..2 of us got our first yesterday..this weeks 34 was by far the easiest

1 ReplyI got a key from completing level 32 last night. What did I get for using it? A legendary engram that did actually turn into an exotic, but one I already had. However, an hour earlier I did level 28 without a key and got MIDA Tool from one of the small chests. Not having any keys isn't always bad.

3 Repliesdo it for the challenge, plus the keys chest is rubbish. Iv had loads of the dream walker rockets and horrible scout rifles. Save the keys for the bounty.

The weapons from the chest are mostly junk (outside of the chance for an Exotic piece or armor you don't have). I only use the keys for level 34 or 35 in hopes of maybe getting Exotic armor. Tired of getting worthless non-elemental scout rifles and hand cannons.

POE is largely crap just due to the rewards system unless you have an Elder Cipher you are trying to complete. The Queen Weapons aren't that good save for a couple of them like the sniper and the HMG, but overall POE isn't worth the effort of the time sink.

I'm skipping until i get a key to get a shitty queens weapon and a chance for an exotic i already have!

The keys are kind of just a bonus. I do Poe for the cores and etheric light

So they aren't that useful but that just how the rng is :/ my friend got a gjallahorn but I don't think he got anything good after that. So yeah........ 1%chance of exotic I think

Keys are worthless unless you have the exotic bounty... 99% of the queens weapons are shit... You get the weekly rewards on your first complete just by opening a side chest... Ya -blam!-ing retard.

I agree. Only doing it to get the armor core to hit 33 easy (late starter here) for IB tmrw so there's an easier and faster way to get etheric light (since no luck on my end via 2 weeks of Nightfalls). RNG for more RNG = no thanks.

Sometimes the side chests drop keys for the big one also like the other guy said u get a lot of stuff for completing it regardless of keys

4 RepliesJust out of interest, why do you want a key? What do you need need it for? The elemental primaries, armor core, weapon core, etheric light and exotic bounties are all rewarded upon completion - not from the chest.

The greater of the loot is picked up from the completion itself. After spending over 18 keys, spread out over chests from each difficulty. The legendary weapons are just purple clones of other weapons that are easily accessed elsewhere. Please save yourself the grief and go back for it after bungie raises the drop rate or confirms that a "glitch" has been discovered.

Anyone still looking that hard for a couple of exotics is going to be disappointed at some point. This is common sense.
