No keys = No PoE !!!!
Farming like an idiot for the last 4 days, did not get a single key from anywhere.
What incentive is there for me to tackle PoE 32 and 34? NONE.
How many of you are skipping this event till you actually have a key in your inventory?

Keys hardly even matter... Only real use they have is for getting the Queen's Cipher for the bounty. Maybe a random change of exotics? But hey... Totally love getting the same crappy weapon and class armor with [u]every single chest opening[/u]. They're basically irrelevant.

Been farming chests for 3 days. Not a single key

1 ReplyI've gotten more keys from the 28 PoE than on patrol since the chest farming was patched.

I've seen people get 2 keys from the side chests in the lvl 28 PoE. There is as good if not a better chance of getting keys from those chests as there is from farming. The only time it's worth opening the large chest in PoE is if you need the Queens cipher or if you're on the 35 for the shader, ship, banner, other than that you just get the Queens gear. Anything else remotely worth the grind drops as soon as you kill the boss (cipher at 34 & 35 or elemental primary at skolas)

You only need a key for the 35 and queens cipher. If you use it on anything else you're an idiot

3 Repliesunless your really just itching to get queens weapons.....that require etheric light to be effective.... than why do you really need keys???? unless your chasing an elder cipher, but i think you woulda mentioned that......

If I'm not mistaken keys drop from the small chests in 28 PoE? Your odds would be better if you just ran that instead of patrols. Plus.. you'd be upping your rep with Variks.

You don't need a key to get an armor core. What's the problem?

You get three free keys a week. Its your fault if you did not save them for 35poe or cypher quest. You get 3 more keys tomorrow handed to you. Stop whining

The keys only give out crap most of the time. There's little point to keys unless you're doing the Elder Cipher bounty, no need to farm them at all.

EDIT- Yes the weapons are okay. But they are exchangeable. With vendor guns rerolled you don´t even need them that much. And plus Raid guns from previous Raids are heaps better.

I suffered through the lvl 34 (actually it was pretty fun), and got halfway through and realized I didn't have a key. So I continued on saddened by that and guess what I got from the small chest? A key and five other things! You never know dude.
