If you use a throwing knife correctly then you dont need it to be buffed back to the beta.

5 RepliesThey have never been nerfed and they have never been OHK. I say this as a day 2 player who runs hunter pretty much exclusively and have used gunslinger in all but maybe 3 of the hundreds of PvP matches I've completed. Without burn a crit knife hit takes about 75% health off. With burn it'll take them down to a bare sliver, but still won't kill them outright. Best I've found is body shot with a hand cannon followed by a knife to the face.

11 RepliesEdited by HELP1NG HAND: 5/14/2015 4:14:57 PMBladedancers have invisibility, Sunsingers have their self-rez, Strikers have their shoulder charge. The charge isn't a standard melee attack, like the throwing knife is. Its an ability. One that has to be selected in favor of two other choices, both of which improve survivability. If you see a heavily armored punching machine charging toward you like a bulldozer, I would suggest you do anything but stand there and take the hit. Use a shotgun or run away. Or when someone on the opposing team is shoulder charging, simply avoid hyper close-quarters environments altogether. The shoulder charge is powerful, but its not at all unstoppable.

8 RepliesThrowing knives are the toughest melee to use. A head shot with a throwing knife should be a 1 hit kill. So frustrating to lose every single melee battle every time.
-
They did nerf shoulder charge
-
Yes buff knives
-
When did throwing knives get a nerf? Throwing knives should 1 hit ko if it's a headshot, but they need to remove to ridiculous aim assist.
-
Throwing knives never received a nerf. They never were one headshot kills in PvP.
-
You'll have to tell me when exactly they nerfed the throwing knife.
-
Throwing knives were never a OHK anyway You have no argument
-
Im a hunter since beta and the trowing knive have always been 156 crit thats it
-
9 RepliesThrowing knives never 1 shotted someone in PvP... I've been playing since day 1 and it has always been you have to get a headshot then throw a knife for the kill.
-
Try shoulder charging me in Pvp I will maxed out sword breaker u so hard u will wake up in Pve
-
Bexause throwing knives can be thriwn from a distance and have a perk where precusion kills immediately reset its cooldown. Put that in a skilled players hands and its infinite ohk. Theres no risk involved with long range one shot kills. Shoulder charge is very easy to counter.

7 RepliesThrowing knives have 1 hit kills on headshots. The game helps you line up your throws already, that said it still takes an amount of skill to use them.

2 RepliesThrowing knives are sooooo much more op than shoulder charge
-
7 RepliesThrowing knives don't require a charge up, don't have a limited widow, and can be used at range. Apples to oranges.
-
Shoulder charge is a high risk high reward, you can easily just shotgun them as they begin to charge.
