I may have reached the end
I have played over 350+ hours in the game. Many hours. Some of you blow me by thousands which is a bit scary.
I don't have a Gjallarhorn.
I don't have a Monte Carlo.
I don't have a Hawkmoon.
I don't have a Truth.
I don't have a Patience and Time (no pun intended)
I don't have an Invective.
I don't have a Pocket Infinity.
I think there's a few I missed.
I've given up on rewards. I am not very lucky and find myself playing crucible more often then raiding. I enjoy hanging with my friends then watch people get exotics around me. Some of you will say that I haven't put enough hours into it, and I get straight As, and have no time to afford gaming during the week. I also have to do various activities on the weekend. So practically I get in about 8 hours of destiny a week. I'm tired of getting Crota checkpoints and losing them during reset because my team can't fire rockets on par when I'm swordbearer. I just find myself hanging with my friends in crucible and patrol fooling around, generally enjoying myself. In raids I don't find that. I find disappointment. Ok, you lose some, you win some, but I've given up. Just going to hang out and do an occasional raid. I don't know if HoW is worth it at a point. I'm not trying to whine about that I don't have these weapons, but just to say I am getting tired of farming for disappointment. Also I only have two friends so I always need to find 3 and it's annoying for raids. I just don't care for raids. Any of you guys feeling this or am I just special?

dude, Raids are nothing you don't have to be max level and if you are good at PvP then enjoy the game mode you are good with changes are coming, in a good way don't feel bad about buying gear from Xur and keep an eye on his "upgrades" as sometimes they will give better boosts then previous versions acquired if you are hunting exotics: do vanguard and crucible bounties and turn in a lot at the same time, do Nightfalls, do Deathsinger and Crota even if it's on Normal, do Vault of Glass from Gorgon checkpoint, preferably on Hard so you can get a Vex off Atheon don't make this game a priority and if you have stuff going on, take care of that first the endgame in this game at this point in time kind of sucks and is filled with glitches anyway Bungie is making good changes, hang in there

And also I have 100 HM vog completes (most are CP's) and no foil or fatebringer. VOG RNG hates me

Its a grind for sure, sometimes you'll go 3 weeks weeks with nothing and then BAM everything drops an exotic for you. KEEP PUSHING FORWARD GUARDIAN

Instead of picking up random people and causing yourself all kinds of headaches trying to coordinate with them, join a clan. Clans are the best way to ensure you have trustworthy, competent people to raid with. And you'll make more friends by joining one too.

1 Reply40 raid completions in 350 hours is high. They'll drop in time. If you find the reward rate bad, wait until you finish school and start working. Destiny will seem like welfare.

1 ReplyWhat system do you play on? I've managed to cobble together numerous raid groups & partners across three accounts in 2 console systems. I'd be happy to help you get some decent drops & get you tied into a group that regularly games together provided you're on ps4 or x360.

Hours don't entitle you to anything man. I'm not trying to be an ass, but you can't post stuff like that without sounding like: "Oh well I have 'X' amount of hours, I deserve ____". I have over 500 hours and I only JUST got my first (and only) Gjallarhorn about three weeks ago. A buddy of mine got an Icebreaker on his first Crucible match (ever). The grind is real. Just play. It'll happen in the end.

If you don't like that or don't want that just accept you will not get the top weapons and gear. And if you only play to get exotic weapons, you better try another game. Simple as that.

have 700 hours and no desire to play this game again. play bfh for multiplayer. I don't see how people like crucible, it's a joke. I might just play how for something new for a couple weeks. the burnout from this game is everlasting.

I didn't get the Gjallarhorn til about 600 hours in. All my exotics.....were Xured. RNG sucks.
