Got exact same drops
I did crotas end on normal with my 3 characters and got the crota fusion rifle and shards 3 times in a row. And the 2 completions on normal last week I got the same thing. I'm starting to think something is glitched or wrong. Help

Completely random drop really means: repeated pattern of the same items over and over again apparently.

That's RNG for you, she can be a cruel mistress. Just keep grinding and eventually you will get something you wanted ftom crota.
