How Will Anyone Get Thorn Now?
With Auto Rifles such as Atheon's Epilogue butchered as well as us not able to rely on special ammo, how will anyone get the Thorn. They seriously -blam!-ed up here. Unless you're a Warlock, you're essentially -blam!-ed.
Edit 1: I now realize that there are void heavies, but you cannot rely on heavy as it spawns no more than 3 times as game AND the enemies also have it as well. Using the Word of Crota as your primary will get you mowed down by a Last Word or some over powered weapon.

first time i did the bounty i did it with nothing but praedyths revenge. It took a few more games then usual but it still works. I can still do it with aetheons epilogue or word of crota along with a void special and heavy

we have to see how it works out with the special ammo but yes, you have a point. When i did the bounty months ago I only had a void fusion rifle and void heavy. The void fusion was the main source of kills for the bounty. No void primary. So with a hunter this may become very tough.

I did it with 85% epilogue and 15% uncommon void shotgun, even after the auto rifle patch. If you go in with a friend to watch your back its much easier. And before people start telling me: "If you need somebody to help you then you don't deserve thorn blablablablabla" It is no different from going in the Crucible with a fireteam on any other occasion. This function is there to be used so make use of it! :)

I did it with rare void weapons. It's really not that difficult, just takes a while.

I did the whole bounty using novabombs and a rare shotgun with void

With my hunter i will be going at it with a void shotty & rocket launcher. I'll get void kills when i can but stay alive at all costs. Little by little i'll get it done.

The same way was before, it just may take a little longer. I've completed 5 Thorn bounties and don't expect to stop there just because of a little less special ammo floating around. Plus two of my void shotguns have Return to Sender, I'll be fine.
