Disrespectful Raiders
I have to say I just had the [u]worst[/u] raid experience since the start of the game.
I join for a fresh Crota Raid on Normal (Helping my friend through it since I normally run swordbearer) I got into in.. And they are at the bridge.
Me: I thought it was a fresh start?
Fireteam leader: It was [u]fresh[/u] when I started it.
Me:...
It then precedes to them trying to cheese it by the warlock waiting for the end timer to reach 0 then self reviving.
I voiced that I want to do it legit after his first failed attempt...
And then was just shit talked for 5 minutes straight.
"You sound like an eight year old"
"If you don't like it leave"
"I'm gonna kick this kid"
I then state that I'm a female adult..
"I don't know how I should feel raiding with a girl that sounds like a gay guy"
"I'm going to kick you"
"Stop being immature"(just because I mentioned that his glitch wasn't working lol)
I ended up just leaving.. I can't stand guys who act like that.
Nothing makes you better than anyone else so stop being an Internet tough guy.
Maybe I should find some other gals to play with or maybe just some guys who aren't d-bags

Legit > cheesing anyway. Can't stand people who cry and whine about cheesing it. Especially when people take forever to climb the damn tower, or WILL NOT raid until we have a warlock for the bridge.

Best to find other adults that raid in general. It's the young population in destiny that a lot of people find this. In this game most people are of an age under 30. Well.... on the forum. In other games with raiding in it (e.g. Rift, WoW, ect.) everyone is from a wide range 20 years of age all the way up to and past 50. Making other MMO much more enjoyable with a mature population.

7 RepliesThat's the reason why I've never done a raid or nightfall. I don't have any friends playing Destiny and as I have zero patience to immature and disrespectful persons, I decided that I don't need that kind of bad experience to spoil my game.

3 RepliesWell, in my experience, almost all raiders are elitist d-bags. This includes females. I was once in a raid group with a female swordbearer who acted like she was top shit for getting 3 hit per down on hard and blamed everybody else for her mistakes. I go into raid groups without gender on my mind. What pisses me off is that people act like everything is everybody else's fault. It's absolutely ridiculous. Why do most raid teams fail? Poor communication. If you get into raid teams like this often, then it's not gender-related. You simply play with d-bags. If you are interested in female-oriented Destiny clans/groups, look into Dames of Destiny.

My clan plays with women all the time we have em in our clan and as long as they can kill shit we all get along just fine
