Disrespectful Raiders
I have to say I just had the [u]worst[/u] raid experience since the start of the game.
I join for a fresh Crota Raid on Normal (Helping my friend through it since I normally run swordbearer) I got into in.. And they are at the bridge.
Me: I thought it was a fresh start?
Fireteam leader: It was [u]fresh[/u] when I started it.
Me:...
It then precedes to them trying to cheese it by the warlock waiting for the end timer to reach 0 then self reviving.
I voiced that I want to do it legit after his first failed attempt...
And then was just shit talked for 5 minutes straight.
"You sound like an eight year old"
"If you don't like it leave"
"I'm gonna kick this kid"
I then state that I'm a female adult..
"I don't know how I should feel raiding with a girl that sounds like a gay guy"
"I'm going to kick you"
"Stop being immature"(just because I mentioned that his glitch wasn't working lol)
I ended up just leaving.. I can't stand guys who act like that.
Nothing makes you better than anyone else so stop being an Internet tough guy.
Maybe I should find some other gals to play with or maybe just some guys who aren't d-bags

17 RepliesIf you're on 360 you can raid with my group. We run the raid on a regular basis. We ensure everyone gets every raid done that they want. Nightfalls and heroics as well. In our spare time we do crucible, rocs and grimoire farm. We share the same mentality as you when it comes to cheesing. We don't do it... Simple as that.

Ive had a few raids with people like this. I only do the VoG but I cant stand when people cheese the darn thing. I never participate and jump down every time. The group always gets so mad and yells "what are you doing!?" I just stick firm and tell them that Im not cheating, I dont care if they do, but Im not. Except for one occassion, they all usually just shut up and let me do my thing. But the reason I got kicked that one occassion was because I told the fireteam leader (who was by far the weakest player for various reasons) to pull his head out of his ass and get over himself. It was worth it though! Anyway, moral of the story, stick to your guns, own yourself, and that guy was a total bi-tch.

Just don't even worry about those kids, or anybody like that. People that actually know what they're doing will appreciate having you in their fireteam and not be all pissy because you suggest an idea that will actually work.

1 ReplyOmg I totally understand, I was doing vog earlier today, and some kid joins. He's a total squeaker, then he begins to run around at Atheon like a lunatic. I begin to ask him to stop or else we will kick him. He decides to take relic, he fails. I ask someone else to take relic of their teleported. Kid goes ballistic!!! Before I mention what he says, take note that he is 10 years old, and by the way he threw around the "N" word, he seemed to be "one of those kids" He began to call my entire raid group "White Crackers", "N*ggas, B*tches, so on... We gave him the boot 👞

I honestly don't think its an issue of gender. Just a massive lack of maturity. If you're wandering around the tower and see me i'll help ya out if ya need an extra hand. Take it easy and keep kicking alien ass.

I'm a guy, but if a someone on my raid team tried to pull that on me for voicing my opinion..... Actually I don't know what I'd do, I'm usually out of the raid team by that point

I hate joining LFG and it being a bunch of teeny boppers that still think it's "cool" to swear every other word. Most of the time, me and my son are taking turns playing. He is no stranger to the occasional cuss word but when every sentence is overly vulgar it just becomes too much. Then they get all pissy when I shut the mic off.

Today i was helping 2 kids on NF, after i did mine, and even tough i was patient and stick with them over like 4 times going to orbit, they didnt wanna take any advice to stay alive trough the strike, they kept jumping around, and talking, and talking, and talking. If you are looking for mature people on this forum to care about your story, you're in the wrong place I'm affraid. This forum is packed full of people exactly like those which you raided with. In all honesty, you should have just left anyway. If you wanted to join fresh, then why join a group at the bridge? If you didn't want to cheese then why stay with a group who is trying to cheese? It sucks you had to play with such morons, but I just don't get why you put yourself through that, after all you're the only person who chooses who you play with.
