Disrespectful Raiders
I have to say I just had the [u]worst[/u] raid experience since the start of the game.
I join for a fresh Crota Raid on Normal (Helping my friend through it since I normally run swordbearer) I got into in.. And they are at the bridge.
Me: I thought it was a fresh start?
Fireteam leader: It was [u]fresh[/u] when I started it.
Me:...
It then precedes to them trying to cheese it by the warlock waiting for the end timer to reach 0 then self reviving.
I voiced that I want to do it legit after his first failed attempt...
And then was just shit talked for 5 minutes straight.
"You sound like an eight year old"
"If you don't like it leave"
"I'm gonna kick this kid"
I then state that I'm a female adult..
"I don't know how I should feel raiding with a girl that sounds like a gay guy"
"I'm going to kick you"
"Stop being immature"(just because I mentioned that his glitch wasn't working lol)
I ended up just leaving.. I can't stand guys who act like that.
Nothing makes you better than anyone else so stop being an Internet tough guy.
Maybe I should find some other gals to play with or maybe just some guys who aren't d-bags

Women Haters. There are many in the gaming world. They hate women because they so desperately want one and have no clue how to get one. So they hate instead. Hopefully you can shrug it off and know it is far from the typical experience (I hope).

I've been bored of the game lately. Have every exotic(weapon and armour) Three 32s A good amount of raids completed (3-6 hm Croats per week besides last week) Basically don't care what I do after my weeklies are done (trying to get nm shaders/ship. Been helping randoms out lately... Did two normal Crota cps with semi new players who could only down him once. They were super happy with their loot. Tonight another random sent out a message for people to do the nightfall with, we had an open spot so I invited him. He had a 30 and a 28. Ended up getting thunder lord and mida. Not all of us a douchebags or 32 elitists, the ones that are most likely got carried through everything and have to pretend to be good or talk shit to people. It has nothing to do with you being a girl (in the case you noted) they would have done the same to anyone.

1 ReplyThat's -blam!-ed up honestly. I'm a female myself & that is disrespectful. You joined their Fireteam acting politely & politely asking if you guys can run a legit raid. From what I read, you didn't even disrespect them in the first place they should have been mature & respectful. If they wasn't gonna do a legit run they should have nicely told you that they wasn't going to, therefor you possibly would have said okay fine & then leave, or maybe you would have stayed & just helped them out at least. I dislike behavior like that aswel. You don't have to really raid with just other girls, you just gottah find the RIGHT group. My clan, it took me a long time to find a clan like mines with members like mines. My guys are respectful, funny, cool, & KNOW how to raid lol. Ive raided with randoms & it's not the same, I end up missing my clan even more lol. What I'm trying to get across is that, it'll take time to find the right group lol. Just gottah keep looking. No need to take shit from anyone though. Good luck!
