Disrespectful Raiders
I have to say I just had the [u]worst[/u] raid experience since the start of the game.
I join for a fresh Crota Raid on Normal (Helping my friend through it since I normally run swordbearer) I got into in.. And they are at the bridge.
Me: I thought it was a fresh start?
Fireteam leader: It was [u]fresh[/u] when I started it.
Me:...
It then precedes to them trying to cheese it by the warlock waiting for the end timer to reach 0 then self reviving.
I voiced that I want to do it legit after his first failed attempt...
And then was just shit talked for 5 minutes straight.
"You sound like an eight year old"
"If you don't like it leave"
"I'm gonna kick this kid"
I then state that I'm a female adult..
"I don't know how I should feel raiding with a girl that sounds like a gay guy"
"I'm going to kick you"
"Stop being immature"(just because I mentioned that his glitch wasn't working lol)
I ended up just leaving.. I can't stand guys who act like that.
Nothing makes you better than anyone else so stop being an Internet tough guy.
Maybe I should find some other gals to play with or maybe just some guys who aren't d-bags

5 RepliesI play with my son quite often(minor). We rocked pvp IB. He was after the usual goodies and I thought I would do the Bad Juju bounty. You know, the one that requires dad to play pvp?! :). And so we could play together. I was doing my usual poor performance and often wondering why my shotgun can't kill a hunter at 2 feet or why others shrug off my rocket launcher impacts as though they were mere raindrops upon their armor and muttering things to myself such as if that Shax dude doesn't Shuttup I'm gonna...well....during this my son is wrecking the joint. 20-30-40 kills. He's keeping quiet and being a good sport, as I require. But afterwards he gets a message from someone he undoubtedly wrecked. Probably over and over. This message was unbelievably vulgar. I intercepted the message thankfully. This sub human filth who authored this vile message relies on the anonymity and relative safety of the net and I hope for humanities sake never stopped to consider the potential recipient of his typed vomit. I've complained and hope "it" gets banned. Lots of great people here but a sad few of really horrible actors. To my way of thinking if you wouldn't say it to the guy standing in front of you at the line at Kroger's, for instance, then don't send it out to the Internet and don't flip someone off in your car either. Just be cool be nice and be as graceful as you possibly can. Try to spread goodwill it's good for yourself, too. Rant over.

Yeah to me my worst experience is when two kids argued on what to do during atheon and one wanted to cheese and one wanted to do it legit but both failed and blamed each other. The arguing became so bad I told both of them to shut up and we would keep doing both their plans until one works. One of them got mad cause the other kid's plan worked and left.

just go on LFG and invite the people you want and since youll be leader you decide who stays and who leaves, most of the time i dont look for people just cause im lazy but if my team doesnt finish what i need in the certain amount of time i want i leave

I have been lucky so far for the most part with randoms. But it's always better to make a few friends and try to raid with them instead. I'm on Xbox one if you ever need an extra person.

1 ReplySame kinda thing happens with me! I hop in on my 32 hunter to be sword bearer for these randomers who are on Crota cp normal and they start telling me what to do and them being lvl 29 or so! We eventually kill Crota and they all get there rewards and jst piss off with thanks or anything!! So annoying

Good on you for leaving. Had four randoms join my lobby for a fresh Crota raid with my friend and I. One had never done the raid ever, which was fine with me. I don't mind taking new raiders through. The other three complained like small children when we got to the bridge and I told them we were doing it the right way. One of the them had been raiding since the DLC dropped and had never done it without cheesing. All three were insufferable, but fortunately we got it done before I had to boot them and find others. It blows my mind how quickly some players lose it when you mention spending an extra few minutes in normal mode to do the bridge the correct way. If you have a team of marginally competent players, it can be done just as quickly as waiting for the cheese to work.

Knows how you feels, one time this asshole was doing the Vault of Glass with me, and a bunch of new people( by that I mean people who never did it before). So he was one who told them how to do it, but he was acting like a douchebag and every time you argue with him( I sometimes argue because some of his plans sucks)he will either just ignore you, pretend he didn't hear you, or call you a retard. Plus he treated me like he is better than me, and then the part I hate him the most was we made it on Atheon, but he says"I ain't gonna do this with a bunch of people who don't know how to do this." And left. So, even still you can do the very beginning to the end with a bunch of people who don't know how to do, but yet you can't do the boss even still you told them how to do it. Since he left I got mad at him, and hope to never see that douchebag again.

I can't stand cheese in Crota. If anybody even asks our fireteam they pretty much get kicked right away. We love doing it legit. It really isn't hard to do with 6 people who have mics. This one guy we had wanted to cheese it because we didn't get it done legit on the very first try. Didn't last very long in our party. Hate joining into random raids that say they are one thing (ie Fresh run, X checkpoint) then you join and they are partway done or already at Z checkpoint as well

I'm sorry that happened to you. I have been in a raid group where there was a young male kid. I do remember wondering if he was a boy or female. I didn't ask the question though.

5 RepliesYou need not mention your sex... I've had very similar raid EXP myself. I'd leave most teams if it wasn't such a pain to find a new one. However, about 90% of the people I play with on Destiny are pretty cool, and for internet gaming, that's incredible.
