Confused how to get legit guns
I've been reading these forums for about 2 weeks now honestly they suck you in with all the random stuff that people get mad over. After a few weeks I'm rather confused on how I or anyone else who still need guns are suppose to get them
If I buy from xur I'm trash or a scrub
Randomly getting them from pvp makes me a scrub
Doing bad in a nightfall and getting something cool makes me a scrub
Engrams, packages, and faction buying all makes me a scrub
And no wants to do the raid with a gunless scrub so can't get guns from there
Tell me guardians how to be "legit" and earn my weapons, all you h8ers should be able to tell me and everyone else that needs a gally, who knows I may dismantle mine so I can get it legit LOL
Edit: almost 100 reply and no hateful messages, faith in my fellow guardians is growing
Now nearing 200 and a single word keeps repeating SCRUB, does anyone know the exact definition of this word
Final edit- of course I nor most people care a damn thing that happens within these endless white pages but 400 posts and everyone of them positive feedback. I'd say that my first forum was a success :)

If a scrub sees a move or strategy he doesn't like (or can't beat), he bans it (if only in his own mind), and complains that anyone who uses it is cheap.

Doesn't matter how you get it, say you did horrible at a nightfall and get a jellyhorn. The other members of your fire team get angry, call you a scrub and post that they can't believe it happens to the most horrible player in the game. Then if/when you do anything with them from that moment on. "Bring your jellyhorn so we can make sure to beat this fast and safe!"

anyway you get them is legit. the snowflakes are just butt hurt, after the painanal that Xur puts on them. When he sells their exotic. then they realize that Bungie doesn't love them anymore. and they're not that special after all.

who cares what others think. the game is rng. if you put in the same amount of effort and time but don't get the drops they do, so you buy from xur. xur is there imo to help those who are unlucky with rng. you earned the gun through all of your work. it isn't your fault rng is a bitch.

Who cares what random elitist neckbeards think about how you obtained your weapon. There are helpful people in this game, not everyone thinks they are better than everyone else. Also, I too never understood this whole "I earned my exotics" thought. I guess if you bought them from Xur you didn't earn them and are therefore bad. Guess I'm a baddie because RNG hates me and it was the only way I've gotten about 5 of my exotics. Weapons seem to be the more common exotic rather than a piece of gear. Also having 1 of each class is helpful too. If you happen to get a piece of gear that isn't for your current class just stash it in the vault and wait until your character is lvl 20 then slap it on and gain a few light levels. Learning the raids is honestly the only challenging thing to do in this game. And over half the raids I get into for Crota people STILL don't know how to properly do the bridge without sending someone over and then having one of more sunsingers res after everything de spawns. I don't get how Bungie can be so lax in fixing bugs and connection issues with this game yet any feedback they give the community rarely address any of the major concerns of the community. It's like a group of teenagers are running this and there's little to no adult attitude to fixing these issues. Such as raids not properly working, using the bungie app to transfer items and if you lose it? Well too bad they tell you to suck it up and deal with the loss. Or not getting loot from a raid at all even if it's the first time you've run it in the week. Also one last thing, having pvp decide how weapons should work and their effectiveness. Which screws raids over big time. For example, in VoG when shooting the oracles with a maxed 331 ap weapon. You shouldn't have to empty an entire clip into one for them to be destroyed. The more I play this game the more the glitches, disconnects, and bugs are turning me away from it. But being this is the only game of its kind I'll deal with it for now as many others are. Ok end of rant.

The fact that you made a post about "how to get a legit gun" makes you a scrub .. Its ok man some people start out as a scrub I hope you rank out of it ... I might be mistaken but the ranks go something like this... Garbage Scrub Noob The last option Guardian Good player Pro Elite OG daddy Legend And the last rank you would probably get to is "A Smoggypluto" That's all the ranks as far as I know

Scrub: one who likes to be clean. Known to use more soap than any other person in a team. Yeh. We don't want no clean freaks around here. GTFO scrub. Known friend of the Wiper. Wiper: a guy that for some reason has to remind himself constantly to wipe his arse. Often leaves on his mic so we have to listen to his insanity while we try and raid.

Take the first gun in the game (KHVOSTOV 7G-02), use this weapon alone during the Crota's End Raid. YOU MUST HAVE THE MOST KILLS!!! Until you have completed this trial you are a Scrub.
