Multiple Death Threats in the Crucible
So I've been reported multiple times for hacking in the crucible. I usually get a message at the end of the game that simply says "reported", "reported for hacking", "reported, enjoy being booted offline". Etc Etc. Minor things, just upset guardians.
Yet, recently I've been getting more death threats, and they're usually not a big deal like:
"Go die"
"-blam!- you you -blam!-tard kill yourself"
"drink bleach"
"I'd kill you in real life"
Small insults, generally after I got wayyyy too much heavy for my Truth by killing them. Yet, I got one a little more rough the other day:
"Full avoids and reports. Kill yourself and your family so we can raise the intelligence of the human gene pool."
Anyways, that's how it goes, its just not exactly what I want to hear while I'm gaming. Does anyone else get death threats in the crucible, or insults after a game?

So you lagswitch? Not saying you do, but most people dont mind losing fairly. Ive noticed a trend of elite pvpers and abhorrent amounts of lag coinciding.

Sounds like a "Dude Brothers" situation: "Officer, I was just minding my own business when these [i]two dudes[/i] just walked up---and for no good reason--- shot/stabbed/assaulted me. In 20 years of trauma care I've never met a victim of any assault who [i]ever[/i] did anything to deserve it. If your pissing that many people of that badly [i]you[/i] are doing something to provoke them and just don't want to own up to it. No sympathy here. Clean up your act.

I've only received 2 messages from players in crucible. The first one was from someone in the other team, asking me to join his pvp clan and the other one was a dude that I was playing against in a crucible match, he got second place and I got first, and he got legendary engram, he messaged me saying: 1st place = blue engram 2nd place = legendary engram, bungie please. So I don't get any death threats but not hoping to get any either lol

Know that they can kill you, if they could get up from their Cheeto dust covered blue floral print hand me down couch under their unframed knockoff scarface movie poster held up by only 3 pushpins in a room smaller than most walkin closets with matted carpet stained by body fluids and old milk. Killers. All of them.

A 12 year old kid told me he was going to shoot me with his dad's gun if I grabbed the sword. Report and move on. I record it with share and email it to playstation. They take action, Bungie won't. It's funny considering they said they didn't want toxic multiplayer, yet do nothing about this sort of thing.

1 ReplyIf you get it once, they're probably just a tool. If you get it all the time from different people, maybe you're the tool? Do you camp heavy all game and tbag them after you get easy truth kills? Do you only play on fireteams where you run over teams of singles and dance and provoke people like you're just too cool? I don't know dude, but this sounds fishy.

Regardless of the nature behind said impulse messages, you can always click the report user for text communication and they will simply be pushed down to a support agent who will look up and review the situation. If the message was indeed a violation, the other user will get a check next to their name. With enough checks, a warning message goes out. After the warning message, they go through another round of checks. After that? Suspension. Then permaban. If you really care that much about them, just click report and move on.
