I'm an 11 year old Cheater, AMA
Hi! I love Destiny. I especially love trying to find glitches and cheats and show them to others on a live feed. I love glitches! And cheats!!
So I met a stranger online and he was totally cool! He offered to help me cheat. You guys know how much I love cheating, so I was all like " ok!" So, like everyone else does, I gave the stranger remote access to my game.
Because all 11 year olds do that, right!? We all just trust random strangers. Especially ones who say they can help us cheat. That's how I learned to used the infinite ammo cheat in crucible. I also love hitch hiking on the side of the freeway! Strangers are always helpful, that's what my mom says.
So the stranger had control of my game, which seemed like the perfect time to walk away and just, you know, let him do some cheating. I'm only 11, and I know that all strangers are helpful, so it was pretty shocking and I cried when I saw that the guy had erased my characters!
Oh man! A stranger that isn't nice?! I just wanted to cheat, and now look! I cried for a little while. Then I realized it's just a game, and I began to learn a VERY POWERFUL LESSON! I started to realize that maybe cheaters don't prosper. I started to understand that maybe I've been too trusting of strangers...
But then the Bungie.net community rallied and praised me as a martyr! They all hate on the bad guy and treat me like a hero! This is great! I'm starting to realize: I [i][b]deserve[/b] to be praised for trying to cheat.[/i] I'm aware that my decisions all of a sudden aren't my responsibility!

I'm an 11 year old cheater! So go ahead, ask me anything.
Edit: Wow, I'm surprised at all the strangers who are being so incredibly mean to me for speaking my mind! I thought I was supposed to be pampered and coddled?! I thought this community was all about reinforcing the bad decisions I made. This is so confusing!
EDIT 2: Good morning, strangers! It's day two and the supporters are still so supportive! Looking forward to more free stuff. I was wondering if one of you could do me a favor? See my expensive bike over there? Here's my entire savings, in cash. Would you mind taking my bike to the store and picking up Dying Light for me? And some beer? I know I'm not old enough, but my peers on BUNGIE.net have taught me it doesn't matter!

Sure, he was innocent and trusted someone he thought would be game. I guess we should blame him for his 11 year old judgment of character of an adult. Kermit has also done this to adults, but then he targeted children because it was easier. Learn to observe, batman. Also, I hope you don't have kids. They would be raised with no hope for a community with integrity. " Don't trust the neighbours or teachers...or anyone, kids. Have a good day at school!" Please, educate yourself. I'm sure you've never cheesed or cheated anything, you are my hero.

It's just kind of weird to me that all these young kids are online with adults and their parents don't give it a thought, but it's really no different than back in old times when Internet chat rooms were all the rage and most parents monitored their kids interactions, and I'm sure most of the time it's totally just about the game but there are still creepy people just looking to mess with children in all sorts of bad ways. Like I get it sucked for the kid and who knows what really happened on the 23 year old guys side but maybe parents should monitor who exactly their kids are interacting with.

2 RepliesI love this, its exactly what's wrong with this community, everyone wants to be a white knight and keep their honor by defending someone just because he's a kid, the fact is that kids are very impressionable. If this kid keeps seeing that everyone thinks it's ok for him to be cheated AND WILL EVEN DEFEND HIM FOR IT, what do you thinks gonna happen down the road? He's gonna think cheating and breaking the rules is ok, as long as he's stopped and punished then everyone will think he's a hero. If we keep spoiling this child like this then he's gonna end up going to jail, dropping out of school, or amounting to [b]nothing[/b] in his life because he was spoiled at a young age by thousands of people. I grew up with discipline, and I will discipline my children. The fact that this child has a ps4 and is so able to take in all this crap with all you children thinking it's ok cause he's a child, really shows that his character is nonexistent, he will amount to nothing in the world because he [i]racks disiprine[/i] and its true. I grew up with discipline, my parents grew up with discipline and my children will grow up with discipline because I will [b]NEVER[/b] see breaking the rules as something to be rewarded. HELL NO. I'm ashamed of you destiny community. I don't want to point fingers because I've seen the polls of what the majority age on this website, there are a LOT of grown men and women here and I don't want to think they are the ones advocating this child being rewarded for cheating. And for those saying "he tried to cheat but he didn't really do it!" Cheating and attempting to cheat are just as bad, we're just lucky enough Kirmit was there to serve as judge, jury, and executioner. Thank you Kirmit.
