Pistol lovers thread (Pictures/Ideas)
A thread for pistol lovers, like me. This revolver skin is the best I've seen so far. The thought of putting this to a Fallen's face and watching all of his eyes go in different directions.....nerdgasms everywhere. I'm hoping revolvers will be more high power, low capacity, quick trigger finger style. Space revolver I will find you. Post pictures and ideas here!

2 RepliesI hope you can dual wield. I love the idea of running up to my enemies with mg Warlock and shooting them all with two fast firing portable death machines! Not a big revolver fan though.

I really love pistols in games, feeling like James Bond with a silenced piece to blasting heads with a magnum or D-eagle. I hope there is some "reward" (for lack of a better term) for using pistols as a primary/secondary. This meaning that it is worth taking one over an assault rifle for instance - ME3 uses a weight system as a "reward" for using lighter weapons. Roaming around with a sniper and pistol combo and keeping on par with the heavy gunners would be awesome.

3 RepliesI'd love to tote a classic revolver, like a Magnum or a Python; Something with a lot of oomph to it and it needs to have a great sound, not like CoD sounds but a powerful sound you can feel. Sorry for my rambling, I'm a HUGE fan when it comes to gun sounds and more sound effects.

I have always loved one handed weapons. Pistols and revolvers being first and foremost. I liked the quick but powerful, free feel of them. I'd really like to see some of these smaller guns be able to stand up to the bigger guns too. You know everything to be equal to a degree so no ones favorite type of weapon becomes useless? Anyways I like this thread.

I want something powerful, slow, but also silenced. Like a big silencer too. Something that says "I'm going to keep my eye on that guy, because he is ominously stealthy.

I love the idea of a tactical assault Pistol, something for hunters that is a accurate, effective secondary weapon/primary assault tool for hunters carrying a Sniper rifle, and let's say the over watch position is no longer necessary or they simply want to join the fight or some bad guys squirt out the back of the building and require intervention. The MK23 is the only example I could think of (real world) where the practical application is actually using a pistol to assault and not as an emergency weapon. The other thing I'd love to see is some Holy S&*t gun, like a double barrel cut off shot gun that has horrific range, not much of a magazine but is perfect when, you get into that firefight with that guy when you turn the corner and crap yourself you have that gun that just dumps both barrels/magazines down range immediately. Just a thought.

15 RepliesI hope to god there is an automatic Pistol in this game. Of course, as long as the Pistols are reliable (such as in BF3) than I will be fine. Halo, aside from CE, has kinda always had crap pistols. I hope they are useful but not OP.

Thorn IMO is the best pistol ive seen probablly carry that as my secondary but primary since im a also use snipers so mostly get more kills with thorn
