Weightgate still exists
I have been trying to hunt a godroll inquisitor and I have gotten HUNDREDS of rolls with loose change. TAKE LOOSE CHANGE OUT OF THE GAME ESPECIALLY ON A PVP SLUG SHOTGUN. Don’t even get me started on the VS velocity baton. Weightgate still exists there’s no way.

This included rolls that weren't even good being very rare, not just godrolls. What you're probably experiencing is the much harder to prove implication that Bungie has messed with the RNG to make "desirable" perks less common than "undesirable" perks. While I personally think it's likely, you're not going to get very far with your "weightgate still exists" rant considering you're confused as to what it actually means. EDIT: I love getting downvoted for agreeing with the OP but not in the way he wanted. Truly.

1 ReplyThe amount of times I get identical or near identical rolls in succession makes me believe something is still wrong. Never forget they had millions of data points for years and never looked into it.

1 Reply100% it still exist, it was never a bug, I think they did it on purpose, last episode I farmed for lone wolf + closing time shotgun and I only got it once in like 300+ drops. Farmed for 6 hours for a heal clip + incandescent smg and only got it once after getting every single roll multiple times, same with igneous hammer back in season of the witch

6 RepliesYeah, it definitely seems that way and I feel the same way about the Vanguard Pulse. To me, “weight gating” is more than just the individual perks but it’s also about the overall percentage or likelihood of certain perk combinations appearing on a weapon. If I win three matches in a row, there’s no way I should be getting the same perks repeatedly, especially when each column has multiple perks. To me That just doesn’t add up.

2 RepliesStop wasting your valuable time, this game is so DEAD! Forcing players to buy the new DLC so you get that tier 5 weapons and extra 10% damage is a new low. Making old weapons and armor obsolete is not the answer.

But hey with EoF they'll get to rmg farm for days on end while streaming. Rng on top of rng is mega fun

100% true! The shotty from Prophecy? 30 rolls with destabilizing rounds. Two with 1-2 punch, one trench barrel, none with both obviously. Bungie will never be FAIR.

And weightgate has been proven fixed by the very tools used to find it.

8 Replies"hundreds of rolls" - won 43 games with zero flawless....so you're not even getting 75% drop rate...gun's only been out since May with loose change as a perk.

I know it's infuriating, but I wouldn't worry. Think about it. Since Rite of the Nine was introduced, Bungie have been giving away weapons like out of date candy. I think that the explorer mode on these dungeons is the best inovation ever for Destiny, and I hope they include many more dungeons, and maybe raids, in the same vein. But Bungie never actually GIVES us anything for nothing if it's any good. These Nine weapons are not as good as the originals, and it was the same with the Into the Light event. They got us hooked on farming pinnacle weapons from the past like the Mountaintop, Hammerhead, Recluse etc, which were nowhere near as good as the originals. Hell, they're even letting players buy exotics and catalysts from Xur, and rewards from the emissary which were originally locked behind $20 pay walls.!! The majority of these weapons, if not all, will become useless when The Edge of Fail comes out, so unless you're a collector, this last month has just been a gap filler to get us to grind for loot that will rust in our vaults.
