Pulses do a fairly decent job of competing with 120s but now the nerf cycle has started you really need to hit 120s. If pulses are weaker they will absolutely dominate, they already play like scouts but with none of the downsides… I suggest (this could work for all handcannons) letting them keep their damage, revert them to 110s, lower the range and most importantly really bring the aim assist down…. Far too forgiving for that much damage per shot… feel this will stop hand cannons going unchecked for years on end, as a d1 alpha vet we have endured hand cannon metas for far too long…

Pulses do a fairly decent job of competing with 120s
The only thing HC's have over pulses currently is the ability to peak shot more effectively. Otherwise, pulses are just flatly better than ALL HC's currently. Even if you delete Redrix, say hello to Outbreak spam. People gotta get over hand cannons. They're the most popular weapon class in pvp in this game and in D1 and it's just not going to change. We had nerfed 120's before and all it got us was an even larger pulse meta. They're never going to make them bad.

Your reasoning is pretty stupid but I would need them too

5 RepliesEdited by GradeMyGuardianTTV: 3/3/2025 2:31:54 PMIDK about this man, as a very VERY casual PVPer on console+controller, getting diffed by a 120 is far less infuriating than a Pulse. Pretty easy to pop off with a Pulse. But those 120s are TOUGH to use on controller. I personally don't mind their absurd TTK. If you can mechanically land those shots & I overextend & try to challenge you, I don't really mind losing that duel. But Pulses? Nah. Hot garbage. Even a casual like me can occasionally run through a lobby with one.
