Hunters took up just about ~7.8% of all guardians in Contest Vespers Host.
Here is the data for Vespers Host Day One completions:
Hunter: 819
Titan: 2600
Warlock: 4888
Here is the data for Day Two:
Hunter: 3157
Titan: 11527
Warlock: 28058
Hunters need (survivability) buffs in PvE.

2 RepliesHunters had one of their most important tools for this Dungeon (Mobius Quiver) disabled. Of course the Hunters are going to do poorly in the Dungeon if one of the few options they had for crowd control and AOE boss damage were completely depleted.

I was doing vespers with a clanmate both of us titans and was thinking how a tether for all the ads on 2nd boss would be great, then I used risk runner and literally kept room clear, worked great for 2nd boss, then we killed boss he exploded and killed us and we didn't get credit, started over, I shut it off

4 RepliesYou AND BUNGIE, need to stop focusing on numbers when it comes to buffs/nerfs. An activity that has hunter super disabled is going to have low numbers. An activity designed to counter a hunter super is going to have low numbers. I mean it’s extremely difficult for Bungie to not understand this concept so I’m not surprised a forum dweller also doesn’t understand the concept 🤷🏽♂️

9 RepliesAs far as I know, there is an issue with Deadshot Tethers crashing the game in certain circumstances i.e. the Servitor boss. It is, apparently, fine in Masters Vesper, but that could have contributed to a lack of Hunters in the Two-Day Contest Mode with a lack of their best debuff option. Meanwhile, Titans suffered in Salvation's Edge because their kit isn't ideal for DPS output on a target like the Witness, whereas Hunters had both a Celestial Nighthawk Golden Gun and the Pocket Golden Gun (Still Hunt), so they excelled in that instance. Each class has scenarios they are best at. But if you think Hunters need a buff in PvE, then my guess is you haven't found the best Hunter PvE builds that exist.

4 RepliesWhen Warlocks asked for a damage increase to their supers, they were told that they are the healing class and to just shut up and color and to stick to their one-dimensional roll. I think Hunters DO have survivability. It comes in the form of stealth, speed, and DR. All subclasses have trade-offs. My Hunter never struggles to stay alive because I maximize its strengths (e.g. on-demand Woven Mail via Cyrtarachne’s Facade, Max Frost Armor via Renewal Grasps, easy and long-lasting invisibility via Graviton Forfeit/Onnioculus, etc.).

The reason for that is because they disabled the most useful hunter subclass for contest host because it could potentially crash your game lmao. It had nothing to do with survivability.

1 Replyhunters should get spirit of the lorely splendor on the class item, that would be perfectly balanced. and pair it with spirit of the radiant dance machines. dodging to place down healing/burning sunspots everywhere. i am serious about spirit of lorely splendor, only joking about the dance machines.

Titan was preferred for raw dmg tcrash provided.
