Trials new card should be available to solos

Pretty much as it states. Why should t a solo player who gets 7 wins get the adept version the same as a fire team of 3? There really is no reason not to do so and if you disagree your just another gatekeeper that thinks your special.

The card is available to everyone, so no one is being gatekept. The way they work differently for solo and 3 stacks makes sense. 3 stacking is a lot sweatier than going in solo. Going in solo and winning 2 matches to not lose one isn't bad. You can also make the choice yourself to start a team and go in as a 3 stack instead of playing solo. Also, how is it that people who think differently than you are gatekeepers. They aren't the ones making the choice for you. Either deal with your choice or at least don't blame others for you choices

          • Probably because solo matches are easier than 3's, it gives people more of a reason to run a three stack instead of just solo, and if solo got the same passage as 3's people would still only run solo's, as again those matches are much easier

          • I’m not for or against this topic but the irony in your closing statement “if you disagree your just another gatekeeper that thinks your special” is very dense and also needs a spelling check.

            • A solo player who achieves 7 wins on the Passage of Persistence will recieve the adept. Thats how the card works. If youre on about losses not removing wins when it comes to 3 stacks then that is due to the difficulty spike when playing as a 3 stack and as an incentive to get people playing as a 3 stack. The target audience of the Passage of Persistence are low skill players who are very unlikely to go flawless which means 3 stacking is far more difficult to get wins in. As a solo you can get games where you are carried, as a 3 stack you do not get that benefit (unless your two teammates are actively doing a carry, in which case you would not be on Persistence).

Its probably to encourage people to play in a way that's easier for matchmaking to handle. 3 people on one team means that the game only requires one match for three people to get what the game gives them. With one person its probably not as easy to do that over time. And that passage is most likely pretty full of people that are more having the weapon given to them than they are able to earn it, which turns the game janky when its just doing that for too many people. Its a delicate balancing act between not having people just be fodder with broken gameplay and having a full on department of social services. But generally at the social services department you don't get to upgrade what you're being given. If you're not in it to just be given the weapon or have a more casual experience then you should probably be using the other passages.

              • They can, they just need to win at least 2 in a row several times over the course of 4 days. Done it twice myself and its a pain (as Trials usually is) but still possible. I personally like the Ferocity card over it, if you can occasionally piece at least 4 wins together, which is how I got my first flawless recently.
