Whenever you peak, wherever you peak, it's like facing a firing squad, praying and spraying upon you. Team shooting has went to insane levels now. It is awful.

It's almost like in CONTROL playlist, players are trying to CONTROL the Objectives... Weird, right? And you can choose who is on your team!!! The meta is auto rifles, which have around a 22% usage rate. Scouts are the only weapons that can "peek shoot from a mile away," and they have a usage rate of 6%. If you want to run and gun, play a different mode than Control. It's obvious you don't understand the objective of the mode: to CONTROL the area of the map around the zones. "Running and gunning" is antithetical to that mindset and can actively harm your chances of winning. If it's so "easy" to destroy every lobby, then what are you complaining about? Do you want more challenging games? Are you too good for your opponents? 😆

Yeah go play Halo 2.

sandbox and trash player are not the same thing, the sandbox is pretty good, sadly the community baby woke cosplay simulator is the problem

You are comparing this game to WW1 ?! Dude suck it up ! You know exactly what the deal is with pvp ….you choose to play . It’s been awful the last three days . But I can’t believe I’m saying this ….IB control was great ! Balanced games with short load times . It really is like a jack pot machine 🤷🏼‍♂️

Oh, I get it... WW1 featured trench warfare, with teams dug in and trading distance shots at each other. It's a bit of a stretch, if folks get too dug in, there's things you can do about it (Titan consecration slam is amazing on groups looking the wrong way). Sandbox is just new, we're still adapting. Today I tried pulses, autos and scouts for range, and then autos, sidearms, and smgs for close quarters. Had more success when I chose my weapons to match the map, instead of wishing things were different/better. This is the most fun I have had in Iron Banner. Played solo and had great games, quick matchmaking, balanced teams, no problems. Played with a stack of clan mates and had some intense close games against other full teams and enjoyed them all, wins and losses. Played about two hours total I think, went to the tower and Saladin gave me a Tusk on my fourth engram. Focused another 11 to get the chain reaction roll I wanted. Good job Bungie, you got a PvE guy excited about going into the crucible and playing for fun AND loot. I'll be back in there tomorrow.

Here's what Bungie need to do to "fix" PVP. Bin ALL of it except Trials. Get rid of it all, because there is zero point in putting objective based game modes in this game. Then make Hunters the only class you can use with hand cannons and shotguns. No heavy. This will mean the rest of us don't have to spend our time with pointless team mates in objective based games that most people just think is Clash anyway, desperately hoping that just maybe we can have a bit of fun this time by actually playing the objective. And hopefully the Trials mafia will be driven insane at being faced with their own kind 24/7 and will melt down in a maelstrom of bitter tears and whiny YouTube videos. You know like the "Wah, Titans" ones we see appear whenever anything comes close to breaking the Hunter stranglehold. Honestly, I don't even subscribe to the likes of GurningJake or iFrostMoan but if I log in to my YouTube account again and see another thumbnail for one of their videos, and the gormless facial expressions they seem to love so much leering back at me, I am going to lose it. Or hey, maybe just take K/D out of the game because it's a pointless stat ?? .. Yeah, like that will ever happen. Now I love the different types in not just Iron Banner, but regular Crucible too. Mayhem used to be fun until that too became a standoff between two teams of Hunters lobbing Stasis downstream. But then I don't care about my K/D and just like to have some fun. But a few games of Tribute ago two members of our team banked zero crests the whole game. Nil. Zilch. Nada. This was because they were too busy running around in that stupid little figure of eight pattern they all seem to love, blocking entrances, while they just plinked away with their little hand cannons. They hit nothing, banked less, and contributed exactly squat to the game. Three guesses what class they were but you'll only need one. Last game I quit out because we had 7 crests bank and the other team got the hunt as they had 35. I had banked 4 of our 7. The rest of my team were either camped up in corners waiting for someone to run out in front of them or desperately looking for a team mate to go team shooting with. Apparently they get lonely and scared when they don't have three people with them all the time. I feel for the Dev's desperately trying to make the game fun and interesting for players like me, it has not gone unnoticed and I think they genuinely put some time and effort into it. I appreciate a change in Iron Banner, and genuinely do go for the objective, but most of my fellow players think every game is either Clash or Trials and if there is an objective there it is someone else's job to do it because they are too busy camped up worrying about their 1.233456787654 K/D ratio or slide running around the map like a posing twonk. It's not going to change so please Bungie, save yourself the time, effort and inevitable backlash to whatever you do to change things and just bin it all. I had some time off today, do some Iron Banner he said, it'll be fun he said. I am now off to stand in the Scottish rain until I am wet through because getting hypothermia will be more fun than playing Iron Banner right now.
