Just to see Glimmer
I think it is stupid to have to hit start and right tab just to see how much glimmer I have when all I had to do was hit start before this year.

I think it's really stupid how this business thinks constantly changing everything in the game as they have been doing since D1 of Y1 is "improving things". Your post is just one of the many, and I mean many things that have changed that didn't even need to be touched, but if you add up all the things they changed and some things multiple times, I can't help but think WTH is wrong with these people. If it isn't broken leave it the hell alone. This is another reason why people stopped playing this game because this business wastes so much time and money on BS and they end up braking what they claimed they "fixed' 🤦♂️

These companies (bungie, Activision) hire unqualified people to please Twitter. They legit get assigned pointless projects to keep them busy. I watched cod and destiny devolve with silly and pointless “updates” to the game

I want to know who at Bungie is sitting there thinking "how can i fix something that is not broken in this game? Oh yeah! It's too easy to see your bounties, quests, and currency. Let's make it a little annoying"

They actively made it like that. Before that, you had glimmer and shards at the top of your equipment screen.

It's like how the featured quest tab is a slight inconvenience, it's nothing serious but can get damn annoying doing an extra step for something simple.

Just a guess but it was probably removed to decrease lag at different times. Your glimmer count changes so often I imagine having it on your character was constant resource drain updating it.
