Why are people only now agreeing when Aztecross says it, when Joker was warning us about it years before?
When Joker posts about it, everyone gave him -blam!-.
But now that Aztecross is saying the [i]exact[/i] same thing, [i]suddenly[/i] it's the mainstream opinion?

Looked up his YouTube and then said, "oh yeah, that guy... nope" I can't even finish a video of his, it's JUST complaints. I like to pop into the forums when I'm not playing to sample bite-sized complaints and whining for entertainment purposes. (You guys never disappoint! Do the "Dead Game" post again, I love that one!) When I watch a video from Aztec, Datto, TV, CoolGuy, etc. I feel like I'm actually learning something and the creator is happy I stopped by. Joker is like that kid at the back of the cafeteria- you can go sit with him but you will regret your decision 60 seconds in. I'm guessing the bounce rate for his videos is waaaaay higher than the other guys.

I’ve been watching Joker a long time. I’m sure he rubs people the wrong way, but often it’s hard to see our flaws (or flaws in a game we love) laid out in front of us. The nice thing is whether they like his personality or not doesn’t stop what he says from being true. He’s always argued from a place of loving the game and wanting it to be better, even if he points out flaws in a way people don’t like.

I will definitely say it’s because Joker is more abrasive on his delivery. He’s right more often than not, but he’s much more blunt.

Funny I followed joker for years ever since one of his videos popped up in my stream and seeing everything occur just as he predicted is a sight to see

5 RepliesBecause he has always told the truth and never tried to spin reality , Aztecross has always been a Bungie VIP, no matter how bad things got, he was still making guides and videos , he was one of the few content creators who didn't quit after the year 1 abomination So when a realist like Joker calls Bungie out, he is just a hater being negative for views , but when a ardent Bungie defender completely rips Bungie apart, it raises eyebrows What's funny is Joker is Bungies biggest fan, and has been in this community since Combat Evolved , and wants nothing more than Bungie and Destiny to succeed, but you can't build greatness on lies and flimsy promises , and failure , oh and squandered potential

Because our society has abandoned an objective belief in truth and we're being conditioned more and more not to judge things against abstract standards; rather were encouraged to follow the "trends" of what the masses consider right/wrong, acceptable/unacceptable. Thus when someone presents something as problematic at first, it's not considered wrong. But when 300k viewers speak out together, it catches traction as the correct wisdom of the day. ... Or... Idk people like to jump on the band wagon 🤷♂️ take your pick

Because shills exist and it takes some longer than most for critical thinking to kick in. For the rest, they wont believe anything unless their favorite youtuber/streamer says it.

It doesn't matter what Cross says. He gets invited to the special Creator Summit they hold in order to provide "feedback" about where the game should be going. If Cross wants to say the direction Bungie is going is predatory (because it is), then maybe he shouldn't have been so complacent with it in all those super-special meetings.

Because his personality is repugnant. I've tried watching him multiple times. He comes off as self righteous and arrogant. And most of his points hold no water or are insanely nitpicky. Even if his video was right. His personality is off-putting and he's had a history of crying "wolf" when there was no need to and that's enough to get him ignored.

I don’t even know who joker is? Regardless, the reason is probably because Aztecross is a mainstream streamer and this joker person probably isn’t as big(my guess)
