Current Gambit is a disgrace. Bring back Prime.

Prime was awful and limited the way you could play the game by forcing you into a well, waiting to bank just to siphon, and immunity fazes. Honestly o.g. gambit was better imo, the best 2 out of the 3 made it feel more competitive cause you could come back after a lost round and taunting in between was fun, you didn't have siphon mechanic so it was really a race to bank motes and pull prime first, and primeval didn't have immunity fazes so you could one faze him with a co-ordinate team, and even melt as a solo if you popped your super at the right time. It felt like an actual race. Prime and current gambit doesnt.

Edited by Kildozer666: 4/4/2023 6:37:25 PMThe reason that Gambit is in a bad spot isn't because of the game mode. It's because Bungie has neglected it since S6 ( 2019). It's been completely starved for attention. So, the community as followed Bungie's lead on not caring about it. At this point, Gambit is dead. It should just be scrapped for something that's better & will get love from Bungie. With that being said, Gambit is my least favorite activity in the game, But The Drifter is my favorite character in the franchise.

The implementation of concept about joining PvP and pve has been a failure from bungie.

I highly doubt Bungie is going to put any effort into a game mode that less than 10% of the Destiny crowd even cares for, much less plays

Don't worry. With their track record, it will return to the game.....in another DLC. Gotta wait long enough for us to forget about it, and new lights to have never experienced it. Just to sell it back to us....again.

I hated grinding tier 3 Reckoning with randoms just to get a full set of armor just for Gambit Prime. Otherwise Gambit right now is pretty much Gambit Prime minus the armor set bonuses.

Considering that Bungie didn't even mentioned Gambit in a very long time, I really doubt they're going to do something reguarding it. Likely they'll live it there, as it is, for those who still enjoy playing it.

2 RepliesOr just remove it entirely They have no plans to improve it, so just cut it out of the game Story wise we shouldn't be cool with slaughtering whole groups of species for the drifters entertainment anyway
