I’d say it’s a really good cutscene, just not the best. I’d say the best cutscene is either the one in the beginning of the taken king or the one where cayde fights off a bunch of scorn and dies

I liked it better than some of the past cut scenes. Was it the best? Not for me. Was it the worst? Not for me. Opinions vary from person to person. I really don't care if they liked it or not. It is interesting to read what others thought but I'm not going to call them out for thinking differently from me.

3 RepliesI feel even worse for people that can't let others enjoy something without being a pessimistic, petulant child.
Posts talking about this being the greatest ending or the most amazing cut scene. If this crap is the best story beat you've scene, I feel really bad for you.
You feel really bad that other people enjoy a cut scene in a video game? Well ..... I hope you feel better soon.
-
Honestly posts like this are just pointless. Do you really care that much about other people viewing things differently than you?
-
It’s all subjective, don’t hurt yourself.
-
I feel bad for people that feel bad for other people expressing their likes and/or dislikes.

They obviously have never played a real RPG
-
They’re emotionally invested for years. Like a soap opera. If you become attached, it hits your feels

1 ReplyIt's certainly the best to them. Some people just have low standards. I'm just hoping this year forward will follow the narrative of the expansions themselves. These seasons jumping from one random event to the next that has no bearing on the actual light and darkness saga itself was very annoying. How tf we go from helping people face their nightmares to pirates making darkness tea from the corpse of a disciple? Then suddenly Eramis is revealed to be this prodigious computer genius that can outmaneuver Clovis, Ana, and Rasputin?

Cinematic was good, season was terrible

Opinions are like poop holes.

Not the best story I've experienced period or anything, but it's pretty good for Destiny, which I've always put on par with your average Saturday morning cartoon

It’s probably all cringey advertisement. This happens a lot when they’re selling a new expansion. It’s so fake and cringey that it makes my skin shake like it’s having a seizure or something. Hahahahahahaha! There is still nothing here. Welcome to hollowness!

The best-no. But it was pretty good by Destiny standards tbf.

I can not remember the name of the mission; it involved entering VoG, and to do with pratheyde, you entered a portal to an area with a metric ton of minotaur. The law notes alongside where really dark and how certain guardian's detested the traveller, and just wanted to die. They never asked for it. They never asked for immortality without their loved ones or families. It was really morbid and dark content, Always hoped more would come about it. It never did, though

This is not a rant nor a complaint... Vets will always be heartfelt towards the original Destiny game. I've read a lot about how D2 isn't what it used to be. But there's a lot of New Lights that haven't seen where it all came from, and those may be the ones that are hyped about this scene. I myself am in that category, New Light. Started late late into season 18, so I'm very unfamiliar with the lore. I have watched a few U Tube vids (over an hour long each) about how it all came to be, so I have a small taste of what it all means. All I'm saying is New Lights will find more excitement in future seasons than most vets because of how the game has progressed (or deteriorated, depending on perspective) thru the years. It's kinda like how adults and/or elderly aren't excited by a bicycle, but young kids are. Jus sayin is all...

Jet Set WillyIt’s all going concording to plan 😂🤣 - old
People can like what they like, doesn’t bother me. But yeah, I wasn’t very impressed with the season finale. Maybe I’m just not invested enough in the story or characters involved.
