PVP? Don't care. Nerf it, remove it, make trying to use it make you glow like a solar flare, but invisibility is weak enough in PVE as it is.
"AHHHH IT'S SO STRONG" on things that can be consistently killed rapidly sure. It has rapidly diminishing returns, and there are plenty of times things just seem to see right through it. Do not weaken invis in pve, do not shorten it's duration, do not weaken it's effect, do not screw with it. It's bad enough as it is.

3 RepliesI remember back in the days of Y1 D1 when Crota first came out and invis was AMAZING in PVE and a complete non-issue in PVP. That was on Blade Dancer, so it's a bit different but the point remains. Never was invis a major issue until Void 3.0.

Bungo: “…but a few key streamers complained and said they spoke for the whole community”

The fact that Bungie has to nerf invisibility again (they did once in 2018) is just downright baffling. Hunters should not have invis touched at all and this is coming from a Titan main . Like seriously, D2Y1 proved that this game isn’t competitive cuz this game tanked HARD. Long story short: stop making nerfs to make the game not unique. Eventually we’ll just be only using weapons at this point...

People cry about pvp but unfortunately it effects pve and thats why literally everything good disappears. But pvp invisibility is a major LOL because you can still see them. People need to realise pvp is not happening in this game anymore either suck it up or play a different game.

Easy fix for PVP, If invis you are constant on radar.

“Invisibility is weak enough in PVE” Lmao.

Warlocks won't be happy till any miniscule advantage hunters have is removed from the game so they can be the over the top best class in the game. Just look a couple of seasons ago when lfg post were saying "no hunters allowed" did anyone care, nope. If you needed tether just use div if you needed damage just use titan. Sol warlocks were dominating in pvp to the point where if you weren't running warlock you weren't winning. It's just infuriating to see them nerfing everything for hunter, and not buff the things that need it, all because the pvp sweats and cry locks want something nerfed. I hope ophidians get nerfed so they can have some of their own medicine

1 ReplyAs a titan main I think they should leave it alone as my hunter friends come in clutch

I laugh at people that say they can't see invisible players, it's so funny to observe the continued whining by this community. Bungie will make all invisible players highlighted red and they'll whine that the red is the wrong color. I'm so glad I gave up on PvP in this game.

9 RepliesEdited by Guardian, Archon Of Light: 11/5/2022 8:32:10 AMGive Hunters a movement penalty while invisible, in both PvE and PvP Get mad if you wan't but is it really fair that one class can completely negate all incoming damage at will ?

It's actually one of the strongest things in pve though I do agree it shouldn't get a nerf.
-
I agree it should remain untouched in PVE only . For PVP that junk needs a major nerf. It should remove the invis user's radar, break if they jump, and have a cool down so players can't spam dodge and smoke bomb.

14 RepliesIt does need a nerf in pve though….

I agree to leave invisibility alone in PvE. It's pretty handy when it comes to rezing.
-
At least with Gyrfalcon it's not a slog to use anymore.
-
Agree. Pull it from PvP and buff it in PvE

I was thinking about making a topic regarding this if somebody hadn't already. Wonder how the PvE community would go after the PvPers if invis got screwed over in PvE. I remember when Graviton Forfeit got kicked back in Risen, and it took Bungie several weeks to get separate the PvP nerfs from the PvE section.
