RIP Shoulder Charge
F in the chat, boys. They are killing it again, and I suspect that it will stay dead this time.
I won't say that I will never play crucible again, but I doubt that I will ever hop in a match just to have fun again.

2 RepliesI main a Titan and hardly ever use a subclass that has the ability because it is not that good to begin with if you play against people who have situational awareness, you’ll trade at best. Its a risky ability and now it will not even have the reward unless you wear an exotic and hit it in the air. Pointless nerf to subclasses that don’t even see that much usage anyway. Meanwhile Warlocks also lose their OHK ability, but Hunters get to keep theirs and get another one with the flux grenade, both of which are low risk and high reward 🤦♂️

2 Repliesyour titan has nearly double melee kills than your next highest method of killing which is super kills, which is still nearly double your weapon kills with a shotgun. 4 times as many melee kills as weapon kills (shotgun none-the-less) You were clearly abusing shoulder charge.

What do you mean? They're giving it 100% more tracking and blinding lol ... yes it won't kill but everyone in the lobby will be one-shot and blind.

Look at it as a buff better range and tracking with a caveat you need to use an exotic to do it. Omg buildcrafting you need to build into it. Like they have been saying for a year now.

My god people are acting like 5 year olds over all this stuff. It’s not a big deal, in the end none of these changes are a big cos the best thing about the game is the gunplay. Always has been. There’s some bad gaming communities on the internet (Dark Souls, CoD, LoL, DOTA) but none of them match the crybaby attitude of this one

The #1 worst decision in a game that is supposed to be space magic, to where Guardians don't even feel like Guardians anymore. So go ahead people, keep arguing about what class is better and what needs to be nerfed to the ground because Bungie loves you for it...

13 RepliesSC ohk is pretty annoying, low skill and hard to counter unless you had a SG. HHSN nerf, not sure, you could counter this tbh after its previous nerf But the hunter dodge cooldown makes zero sense, I can't see how it was OP before.

2 RepliesOh don't worry, they increased it's aim-assist and made it so you can now shoulder charge players that are behind you, just follow it up with a quick melee for an easy kill ... you still don't have to use your guns ... in a first-person shooter ... oh, and it'll blind everyone in the lobby now too lol

well to be fair every ability for all classes are getting nerfed in pvp. As a titan main, i never really used shoulder charge that much. I get punished no matter how well I try to use it. I'm calling it out now! The best titan build will be bottom tree striker with synthoceps. The Knockout punch is getting a lunge nerf, but synthoceps will compensate for that.

Shoulder charge was the most busted ability in the game lol, you have no right to cry about that. Shatter dice at least require your grenade… all you had to do was run for a few steps.

13 RepliesI'm just not understanding this nerf. SC and HHSN can no longer OHK yet gave hunters an additional one with the flux grenade. The 2 abilities were already underperforming because of the shotgun meta and now they get objectively worse with this nerf. HHSN I can see working as a boop cannon and cleaning up with an SMG or sidearm but SC still requires you to touch the person which is already dangerously unrewarding as is. The part that is most infuriating is that DMG says "use peregrine greaves". So I have to make a useless build around shoulder charge that's going to get me killed by shotgunners, meanwhile, hunters get the OHK they can perform from a much safer distance with no exotic.
