What is your favorite exotic, and what is the worst?

Right now? Favorites: Weapon....Anarchy. (Yes it needs to be nerfed, its the best at EVERYTHING in the game right now.) Warlock Armor....Boots of the Assembler. Hunter Armor......Orpheus Rig. Titan Armor....Cuirass of the Falling Star (fun factor). Worst: Weapon....Leviathan's Breath. Pretty useless beyond stunning Unstoppables. Warlock Armor....The Stag. (Honorable Mention: Karnsteins Grips, Winter's Guile)

9 RepliesTwo tailed fox is underrated, it shoots two full power rockets with different effects on each one, definitely my favorite. Worst (besides salvation’s grip, however I can make it into a build) is probably Fighting Lion. Sure you can probably make it into a build for pvp, but in pve? Forget about it!

For me, worst gun is Salvation’s Grip. Entirely designed for that one quest on Europa where you had to shoot the hidden whatevers with it. Absolutely zero in game value beyond that. Best? Anarchy, Telesto and Witherhoard are just rock solid in nearly every situation bar, I would imagine, full on 1340+ endgame stuff (I admit that I have very little experience of these parts of the game). Riskrunner absolutely the most fun in the right situation, though (Altars, Rasputin Shank strike) I’m less fussed about armour generally, but I’ve historically got very good value out of Crown of Tempests for ad clear when running Arclock. Looking at it again from a pure fun point of view, pre-nerf Orpheus Rigs were a hoot, particularly on Altars where you could repeatedly chain your own Supers.

19 RepliesThe best is Witherhoard, the worst is Skyburners Oath. I never see ANYONE use it. I’d also say Salvations Grip. Armor wise, I’d say Lucky Pants and Oathkeepers.

In PvP: Ace of Spades is one if, if not the vest according to usage rates. Exotic armor kinda fluctuates here, but Stompies, Ophidian Aspect, and One-Eyed Mask are exotics are up there in usage. Worst in PvP would probably be the Aeon exotics for armor and probably Salvation's Grip or something for weapons.

5 RepliesTitle of worst exotic weapon is definitely tied between Jade Rabbit, Salvations Grip, Polaris Lance, and Legend of Acrius. For PvE and PvP. Best exotic weapon in PvE is Anarchy at the moment but I get the feeling Witherhoard is going to take that title. PvP I personally think its Heir Apparent honestly. Its a pretty hard counter to supers and you get a lot of ammo. Plus, it scares even sweaty teamshooting groups away from critical areas constantly. I'd say Chaperone and Ace are tied in second. As for armor, Khepri's Horn for Titans, The Stag for Warlocks, and The Bombadiers for Hunters are the worst for both PvE and PvP. Exotic armor is a bit harder. Im gonna say a tie between Ursa Furiosa, Dunemarchers, and nearly all of the exotic chestplates in PvE for Titans. PvP its Dunemarchers. Warlock is definitely Phoenix Cradle for PvE though Geomag Stabilizers, Nezerac's Sin, and Sunbracers are right behind. PvP its a tie between Transversive Steps, Astrocyte Verse, Claws, and Ophidian Aspect. Just depends on the player. Hunter for PvE its a tie between Orpheus Rig, Celestial Nighthawk, and Star Eater Scales. Frostees are solid too. For PvP its a tie between Stompees and Dragon's Shadow. Wormhusk, Frostees, and Mask of Bakris are up there too.

Can’t really say what is best exotic and what’s worse as all exotics have their own purposes. You could Trinity Ghoul is the best ad clear exotic while the worst ad clear exotic is probably skyburners oath. For Damage Heavy best is probably anarchy while worse is tied for Leviathans breath/Darci. Salvations grip isn’t used for anything it was just a dumb exotic created for one purpose and that is quest crap for stasis.
