This is why I’m going to end up leaving destiny 2.
I have been GRINDING for a long shadow with snapshot. Put in some SERIOUS time and only gotten just a couple of them none of which have snapshot. You are outclassed without snapshot in pvp. After all this time I feel nothing but a sour taste and wasted time put into the game reaping no reward. I kept wasting day after day trying to get this thing and I refuse to waste my life away just to have a gun that can compete in the game. Before anyone says adored, I need a kinetic snipe to pair with my favorite primary.

1 ReplyI’ll give the same advice I tell everyone when they get in this situation: Stop grinding. Seriously, just stop. The moment you stop actively trying to get something in Destiny and just “do stuff”, that’s when you get the thing you’re looking for. Don’t have any proof other than having seen it happen to me and others time and again. Don’t quit Destiny, just stop running the hamster wheel and relax.

I appreciate all the input from everybody. I have decided I made this post out of her anger and it was pretty childish, and the game is what the game is and I can’t cry because I don’t have a certain person on my favorite sniper rifle. I’ll stick with the role I have right now and hopefully one day the park I want to drop until then I still love destiny to my favorite game.

2 RepliesBesides eye of sol or predyth’s revenge there aren’t that many kinetic snipers in generally. I recommend going for predyth’s revenge as I believe it can roll with snapshot

There are plenty of great guns out there, especially when I try to keep the best roll of each gun I get. If you have to grind to get what you have to have, you may be disappointed.....

1 ReplyOver one world drop weapon? You do understand that Specific world drops rolls are insanely low because of how populated the loot pool is right? The world loot pool is huge. You’re better off farming for another sniper. I hope you get what you’re after but the odds are against you.

Vanguard tokens/grinding no? World drop yes... but it is the only sniper that drops from turning in at the vanguard no? I could be mistaken so I am not trying to say “easy find”.

1 ReplyThese snipers are easy to obtain. I got 2 of them within the past 24 hours. One of them was from a prime engram and the other from a Crucible match drop. I have received so many of these guns that I regularly dismantle them. The only one I have kept has Snapshot and Explosive Payload.

All the current raids (minus garden) have kinetic snipers that are useable in PvP. Mix up your grind and do some of these. I’d argue that the deep stone sniper is the best kinetic sniper and can get snapshot moving target. In the meantime, buy yourself a revoker. Yes you can’t use it in trials or iron banner but it’s a good stop gap.
