3 RepliesThe problem is people don't actually know how to play. Some people here tried to argue with me that it's more important to always go for 15 motes rather than to bank first. First to invade wins like 80% of the time.
-
1 ReplyI’m decent. But winning depends on the team
-
There are two types of gambit players: 1. Those that are bad at it. 2. Those that will argue that there are actual strategies to it.

Could've fooled me.
People actually care about gambit? I do the 3 pinnacles, get motes, bank and kill adds. That's it. However... Truth invaders, mote sealers, mote bug and the occasional enemy that SOMEHOW takes me from full health to dead in a single attack because reason. Oh...and the afk/oblivious blueberries.
-
Of course they are. That’s why they all invade with heavy 👍🏻
-
Vast majority hate gambage. They only play it because the game dictates that they need to. Thats what happens when people who hate something are made to play it. Poor choice by bungie. Gambage is easy. Its not hard to figure it out, but most players are in there to get bounties done or games completed. And for many, that means, get games over quickly and get to playing stuff they do enjoy.

1 ReplySometimes it feels like playing with bots lol

I do many carrys, and people say I'm really good
-
I’m good at losing motes
-
Whenever I play, the opposing team members are literally experts. At least it seems that way.

1 ReplyI’m decent when I play. I’m not great at invading, but I can manage to get some kills. I just put on some music and just have fun when playing

1 ReplyThere good players. The problem is that Gambit is very unforgiving of people not knowing the optimal stragies, and being unfamiliar with the rhythm of combat. Also the game's design makes it VERY difficult (on the PVE side) to compensate for weak players or for a strong player to carry a team. I wish I had a dollar for every Gambit game I've lost because a blueberry lost 20 or 30 motes in a match because they kept trying to bank 15 all the time and dying with them. I once had a player lose 45 in a match back when Gambit was 3 rounds. There is just no overcoming that. Its part of the reason why the game mode isn't popular. The experience of playing it with weaker players is frustrating at best. Rage-inducing at worst (Yes, guy who was running around with 15 motes on him killing mobs when we needed to only bank 5 to pull our Primeval...and I had to harrass you into finally banking them....I'm looking at you.)

Who ever is lagging the most wins; add to that your fighting against all manner of exploits and glitches and cheating

9 RepliesEdited by Starkweather: 6/16/2021 9:52:28 PMEveryone is decent at Gambit...until you run across a premade fireteam that not only stomps the boss but That One Guy keeps coming over and crapping all over your hard work.

1 ReplyPeople dont care They for a pinnacle Wake up it's been this way for monthe
-
2 RepliesLooking at you’re game history not you for sure 😂
-
The team mates sweating beside invade portal with either xeno, eyes of team wipe, truth. And heavens forbid queen breakers bow.
-
It's not necessary to be good. If it were, ppl would be better. Meanwhile, ppl have bounties to complete which take absolute priority. 👍
-
Gambit, really?
-
6 RepliesDefinitely not me, but that's because I gave up trying after constantly being matched with people that bank five motes first. Either that or some invader using Eyes manages to kill you from under a rock, behind a wall, when you're hiding in a cave, having a picnic.
-
Good at getting beaten ohhhhh! (I’ll show myself out)
