I don't need to self justify a dam thing you're doing enough of that for the both of us. Also I'm literally a game design major so I'm sure I have a pretty decent grasp of design buddy 😂😂😂 if stasis is an issue you balance the whole not destroy 1 because that tips the scales excessively. To avoid the backlash and anger of the player base that happens to enjoy the warlock either informing them that balances to the others are coming or waiting to touch on all 3 at once is the way to go. Instead 1 of the 3 was hit way too hard and thats all we know as far as their plans. Comparing shadebinder to nova warp is actually a great comparison if you don't sit there and talk down to people you don't know. Obviously nova warp doesn't freeze people but it was hit in the exact same way. The second people complained about the super it was beat into the ground and had every aspect of it nerfed to the point its rarely used(outside of supernova builds). You wanna talk stasis then nerf stasis period specifically pvp freezing as that was just crazy on their end. You don't just nerf 1 classes stasis abilities, to say that's fair and trying to justify it is just ridiculous.

  • They nerfed one class TO BRING IT IN LINE with the other two, it's that simple. If you can't understand that then then you're just choosing to be ignorant. Warlock completely overshadowed the other two stasis subclasses. The numbers they give did look a bit harsh but personally I think they should remove freezing from pvp altogether. Keep it for pve as it was but just make it slow people and stop ability regen in pvp.

  • Your response says otherwise. If you had nothing to justify you wouldn't be leaping to defend yourself, you'd be providing straight evidence to prove your own point rather than ranting on. I doubt you're a game design major and if so this clearly isn't the type of game you understand. While this game is supposed to represent a degree of power fantasy there's a line that's clearly being drawn and has been since the first director's cut in Year 2. If you properly read my response you would see that again I think Hunter needs to be nerfed and Titan needs some tweaking. So no, Im not just advocating for a single class to be touched by Bungie so that falls through the floor and reveals nothing but a victim complex, hence how again you are trying to justify your argument or lack thereof. As for the order in which they hit them, its better to touch one at a time so you can more carefully see how each works with other in the live environment and be able to make much more specific changes as a result. If you nerf all 3 at once you risk making all 3 too weak and thats worse than making a single one too weak. But again, in something like Destiny anything that disables a combatant for even a moment is quite lethal in PvP and PvE. When the one is disproportionately powerful in comparison to its counterparts then yes you do nerf the one in this instance because buffing the other two would make the issue worse. You bring the one down to the other two. People are going to have back lash and anger for a majority of nerfs to their class if their not thinking critically. That's called bias. Its exactly what you're doing right now. I really don't think this is going to go much further with a clear bias from you though so Im just going to leave that at this. Hunter needs to be nerfed as well and Titan needs tweaking. The nerf to Shadebinder is needed with or without changes to the other two as the most chaos was coming as a result of Warlock in PvE and PvP and will still come as a result of Warlock.
