Could the destiny universe survive a flood infection?
We have a couple issues the flood may encounter. The flood are from the halo games which were made by bungie.
-the taken and those who control them(could the flood infect a taken, or would the spores die trying this. Or could spores be taken.)
- ascendant realms
- siva
- gaurdians and the ghost (could the ghost prevent the flood from controlling a gaurdian? Resurrection.
-the light
-the darkness
The factions that could run into trouble are..
-The fallen except for servitors and shanks?
-The cabal
-The vex maybe (they have alot in common with the flood) could the flood be turned into vex like kabr in vog.
I don't know about the scorn or hive being infected.

Guardians, the Traveler, the Nine, Taken, Scorn, Vex & Darkness could survive the flood. Fallen, Cabal, and Hive alone don’t stand a chance. The last city would fall though because of the normal humans

If our ghost can rez us from standing in radiolaria for too long then I don't see how the flood would fare any better. However, Guardians make up a vast minority of humanity so the race as a whole would eventually fall even if Guardians could somehow win through sheer war of attrition. The Fallen and Cabal would obviously fall as well, and likely the Scorn because Fallen corpses would be infected or plain unusable. The only races that really stand a chance are the Hive (through paracausality), and the Taken/Vex due to their own corruption/absorption abilities. The Taken probably have an even better chance considering even the Vex were afraid of losing the whole collective to them.

Everything in the Destiny universe would whip the shit out of everything in the Halo universe. I don't even think there's any question about that.

If the forerunners couldn’t survive the flood I don’t think the destiny universe, or at least the last city, would stand a chance. I mean if the flood got control of rasputin and siva it would be over pretty quick I’d imagine.

LOL what. Do you know what the flood really is and what they are capable of ?! I suggest you look into Halo Flood videos. You will be in shock. Anyways, Flood. Their feats speak for them.

2 RepliesThe Fallen, Cabal, and [i]possibly[/i] Humanity might not survive. But yeah, the Hive and Vex could stand a chance. The Flood would probably starve before they could do any real damage to the Vex.

1 ReplyWell, it makes you wonder. Did earth actually manage to send people beyond the stars in the destiny universe? For all we know, Halo and Destiny could be the same universe. We never know. The enemies in Halo could have heard stories of the light, but it has been awhile since I've heard about Halo's story and where it takes place.

They would dominate. If you took the Flood from the Human-Covenant war? Destiny would win. If you landed a Flood spore on Destiny Earth? They can only get so far until encountering Paracasual Beings (Guardians) Also, Flood would stomp the berse if we excluded Paracasual Beings. Logic Plague would give them the win against the Vex, since the Vex need to understand their enemy to simulate them properly.

21 RepliesEeh, there's a discussion on Vex vs Flood, and most evidence points to Vex as resistant. They are split into different branches with no highest mind, so even if an axis mind was infected, it would only compromise one branch. Also, keep in mind the Vex are just the white glowy liquid inside of mech suits, basically. Isn't there a minimum biomass requirement for the Flood to feed?
