Destiny 2 constantly freezes for a few seconds

Hello I've been having trouble with constant freezing in Destiny 2 the past 4 days. I've tried searching around but everything I can find is about permanent freezing or crashing, which I don't have. The game resumes fine. It happens everywhere, in menus, on planets, during missions, running around, standing still. Doesn't matter how long the game has been open. I can't find any pattern to it at all. The problem started 4 days ago after my PC turned off suddenly in the middle of a storm while I was playing Destiny 2. Ever since then, it's been freezing off-and-on for 2 - 5 seconds at a time. There were no problems before. It does not happen in any other games, just Destiny 2. The game is on an SSD, just as it always has been. I have tried verifying the integrity of the game cache (no problems found) and rebooting several times. No drivers or windows updates have changed since before the problem started. Here are some examples of the issue occurring: https://gfycat.com/goodnaturedshallowantarcticfurseal https://gfycat.com/insecurethriftydonkey Specs: Windows 10 LTSC 1809 Intel i5-4670k @ 3.4GHz Radeon RX480 driver 20.5.1 8GB RAM G.SKILL F3-1600C9

  • If your PC shut off during a storm while playing it's possible your ssd now has permanent damage due to losing power while reading/writing data.
