3 RepliesJust curious i had the bastion quest on my hunter before season 11 with a few steps completed but its now gone along with the 4th horsemen quest and Tommy's Matchbook exotic catalyst quest is this a intentional feature?

I actually liked PvP (one of the few) for the first time in a while. Sure it wasn’t great, but it was playable. Now with SBMM gone, me being one of the few that used to play it, now I won’t touch it. You wrecked any purpose to play PvP. Great job! Might as well just remove it now. Seriously, why the actual f*** did you remove SBMM? Because your “goals” for removing it obviously wouldn’t be met by removing it. Enjoying the experience defines the outcome of the match, and right now, 90% of anyone left will leave. Play into the strengths of Crucible being a bombastic, frenetic action game? Then replace Control with 24/7 Mayhem. You’re Crucible Design Team are idiots of you think the “new” control is what we want to play. Constant Mercy’s... SMH...

1 ReplyThanks for the Crucible change. Now its team after team after team stomping the crap out of whoever I match with. I was actually enjoying Crucible last season, now it's pretty much ruined for me. In the past year Quckplay had the same problem, which I avoided on purpose, now you've managed to spread it everywhere. What the hell is going on over there at the studio? One terrible decision after another. (Aside from the new Dungeon, best content is Destiny in years, better than most of the Raids) The PvP changes only helped people who were already good, which isnt the larger percentage of people who play your game. I cant imagine what a new light player thinks about getting their face stepped on every game. Probably wont set foot back in it. Change it back.

You earned it Can someone at Bungie please explain to me very clearly why sunsetting will still go through and for what reasons? I logged in, played around a bit and saw that all my gear was capped at 1060. I opened up some engrams and low and behold: a Lonesome with a roll I've seen before.. But light level 1360 possible.. Went to check my vault for the Lonesome I have with a pretty much exact roll: power level 1060. What the -blam!- is sunsetting even for then when you're giving me the EXACT SAME WEAPON WITH A HIGHER NUMBER? It's not like this new Lonesome does more damage, or has a higher stat roll or even brand new perks... Where's the new shiny thing I'm supposed to go get that's "aspirational" (what a joke using that word)? And then you proceed to introduce champions which require higher light in basic patrol zones where you claimed my sunsetted gear would be usable.. What a load of shit And what about armour? What about the masterworking? Sunsetting completely invalidates masterworking. I mean, why would you? You can't use it in any new activity.. Will you drastically reduce the cost then to be inline with the sunsetting period? Yeah, screw us players for actually putting in time farming good stat armour to create builds with.. How dare we not change our high stat masterworked armour with that 46 stat rolled new armour.. Back to using random shit that has the right power level... This is a problem YOU created, not the players.. YOU, Bungie, choose to keep upping the power level every season. And for what? To serve only as some entry barrier and then turn around and say: damn this power creep in our game is a problem... Well guess what, stop putting it in then..

Ok I've seen the taken pyromaster spawn in countless times in the heroic contact public event as the boss ive killed him plenty of times but when i look at the triumph for it it says ive only killed the taken monstrosity is something up with that is it a bug im confused as to why its not counting it.

Since Bungie is implementing power creep into Destiny 2, they should at least make all the pinnacle/ritual weapons exotic (as their main problem is the fact that they are essentially legendaries with exotic perks/definitions). This would work exactly the way it did in D1, where the raid ADEPT weapons were exotic. This way all the blood, sweat and tears we put into those weapons is not all in vain but it gets its place as an exotic so you can’t use two “exotics” in one loadout. This would mean that you would have to choose whether to use mountaintop/revoker or recluse, you won’t be able to use both at the same time. Or if you want to use mountaintop and 21% delirium in a raid, you’ll have to choose which one you value more. Every single pinnacle and ritual weapon have something unique with them, Python for example is the only shotgun that rolls with overflow, meaning you never have to reload and you can have 10 rounds in your mag. They could buff its range to hang with mindbenders and make it exotic, and I believe that it could be a viable choice in many activities but you would have to choose whether you value it enough to use up your exotic space with it. I believe that this is possibly the best and only way that you can implement power creep without making all our hard work in vain, by keeping these powerful and one of a kind weapons and giving them the exotic property it should have had in the first place.

2 RepliesSorry, just can’t ignore the time, effort and frustration it took to get the god roll weapons and armor with the high stats to be disregarded like this. It’s so freakn demotivating that the excellent graphics and gameplay just doesn’t make up for it. I’ve probably spent too much time playing Destiny over the past years for another ‘fresh start’.

You know what bungie its as simple as this. Your removing locations people paid for. Fine but none of us better lsoe any of our shit we either EARNED, or PAYED for. Or your going to lose many many many veterens of destiny. Your now going to far and i suggest you rethink your director if he cant think of better ideas then scamming the people who literally pay for your game. Stop changing things no one asks to be changed. Start listening to your fan base. If your making changes do changes that are related to the feedback that your COMMJMITY has provided you, stop being cowards and never replying to any of these, iv skimmed threw the thread and what i see rn is beyond light is a good expansion for what its BRINGING but its not worth the price of what it's taking. And right now your at deaths door a 3rd time before your 4th expansion to a destiny game. I highly suggest you guys have meeting and actually discuss the future of your COMPANY. And destiny 2.
