It’s beyond frustrating at this point. How can this game be considered triple A when the tic rate is worse than a Nintendo game. Every crucible match, every trials match. It’s unacceptable. How is it fair or balanced that when I’m behind cover oh my screen and they can basically kill me through the walls. At this point bungie you should be ashamed of the state of the game. Fix your engine, optimize your game and get your -blam!-ing shit together.

I just keep playing players with much more skill than I have. I don’t know what’s up with the matchmaking, but I’m getting my ass whooped these past few days. I have noticed some latency issues as well for quite some time, but I’ve gotten used to it.

Johnnyp1802 you make some valid points and i agree that eververse should be removed from this game. But Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defences, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

1 ReplyI wouldn’t really bring up Nintendo here in relation to network quality. They have to have a phone app for voice chat, and the lag in Smash is so bad that they couldn’t even use it as an EVO game this year even though it had the highest registrations for competitors last year. Game quality may be off the charts, but Nintendo has never cared about online and it shows.

[/quote] This statement relies on the fact that nobody knows what nintendo online is like. SMM2 Online is unplayble in the oceania region. Mario Kart error codes galore! Arms has a lower ticrate than destiny, but hides it with choppy punching animations. I'm not sure what nintendo games you've been playing.... or if nintendo even has a comparable game to this.

Wait until Next Gen consoles are released then buy the the rights to the 343’s new [url=https://www.343industries.com/slipspace-engine]SlipSpace[/url] engine and use that to build D3’s foundation. All with Top of the line regional Dedicated Servers too But do you really think that’s going to happen? I wouldn’t hold my breath if I were you.

It's not ideal, but it's balanced... More seriously, what's the actual tick rate of D2 ? I read on a reddit post that's combat damage are sampling @30Hz. and I know that CS has 60z, and COD 20ishHz.

To be honest, it's probably just cheaters lagswitching. Unlike Destiny 1, it's rare that I'll experience actual lag or laggy matches where everyone is lagging, and if anything, _because_ D2 is more stable compared to D1, it makes the lagswitching way more obvious, since around certain players I will always be lagging, even if I don't lag around their teammates, or even their clanmates who clearly are playing from the same country. It's particularly obvious when I only lag when they see me on the screen (i.e. I'm in their field of view) or I show up on their radar... but I don't lag when I crouch around the map and shotgun them in the back, almost like they're slapping that lagswitch only when they see an enemy on screen, or see red on their radar. :P Either way though, this game needs regional dedicated servers for all aspects of the game, but particularly for Crucible, and Trials and Comp in particular.
