Yes but none of the listed armour gives you 360 degree immunity to all damage every 6 seconds as well as a boost to super energy when you so happen to block damage while being completely immune you get FREE super energy. Let's also not forget how the wards can reflect EVERY projectile including nova bombs. No I do not think you should be able to slide at someone and make their super irrelevant. Besides I'm just venting we all know they're gonna get nerfed until then "in order to beat cancer you must become the tumor"

I'm a little on the fence about them, but I really don't think they're much of a problem. It's like, yeah, titans, the tank class, can tank something if they spec into an exotic that is designed for tanking damage in the right scenario.

Unfortunately, I still think they do. Now before that you insult me for being a "stupid hunter main", adding nothing to the discussion, I want to preface that I wanted Spectrals nerfed (and I still do), I don't want Hunters to be broken, I want the game to be balanced. As to why I think this, it's a few separate things that Anteus does. 1. The shield lasts for around .33 seconds, which may seem small, but we're in a meta where the average TTK is around .6-.7. Meaning, if you get a slide off, in a pure TTK battle, Anteus just gives you a straight advantage. 2. The reflect and invincibility is 360 degrees. The visuals don't match with either, if you're in a slide, you're invincible. Plus, because of the cooldown (or lack there of) a total of half your slides give you complete invincibility. Mixing this exotic with the amazing neutral game that titan subclasses have, adds a very hard to play against playstyle. Before that you say hunters have the best exotics, subclasses, etc, Striker and Dawnblade both have higher average W/L ratios. Keep in mind, I'm not saying that those classes are broken, I'm saying that hunters are not the best. Unlike most other people, I'll provide what I feel as if is a good nerf. If you want to keep the invincibility the way it is, just make it so you can't shoot when the shield is up. Super simple, shouldn't hurt it's exotic feel that much. If you don't, make the invincibility match the visuals, and increase the cooldown to 4-ish slides between Anteus slides (while I would like to see this on both just to make it less spammable, much less so if you can't shoot through the shield) Overall, my biggest gripe is that I get the feeling that if this exotic was on hunters, it wouldn't be defended as heavily. Now I wait for the "stupid hunter main" comments

I have accepted that this game will never have a significant skillgap no matter what so at the end of the day it doesn’t bother me. But if you think being able to reflect shots while sliding, which anyone with good movement does all the time, is a balanced ability then I seriously question your experience with competitive games. It was the same with one eyed mask and OG flawless execution and handheld supernova with contraverse holds. That stuff just straight up does not make sense in a PvP game. The problem is Bungie introducing things that are broken and poorly thought out but then when players complain about then it’s the players’ fault for being crybabies which just makes people like me look like im bit[i]c[/i]hing but I’ll take it if it means calling out stuff in the game that is dumb. I’m not biased against titans, like I said I felt the same about handheld supernova, spectral blades, and oem. Even nowadays I find things like the bottom arcstrider dodge pretty broken. But entering EVERY SINGLE engagement with a reflective shield is blatantly out of hand.
