Im sure most of the console players would confirm, that it was a bad idea to replace the 900 rpm ar's with smgs.
Smgs are extreme short range weapons, wich get outperformed by every shouldercharge, hammer, handheld nova, pistol, fusion rifle or shotgun easy. So the only effective range (at least on console) is totaly overpowered by every other short- midrange weapon.
I dont say smgs are bad and i know they're allready implemented, so you wont replace them. But there is almost no reason to use an smg in pvp.
Please bring back 900 rpm ar's and make them lightweight autorifles.
You could give them the range of adaptive frames, but lower body and higher precition
damage, just like adaptive and lightweight smgs.
Also please think about shotgunranges, pistole damage, and fusion rifle charging time. To give smgs a place in pvp.
I know pc players can constantly outgun those weapons with smgs, cause they are able to fire at higher ranges, where we console players got no stickiness.
Please think about it, and give me the
doctrine of passing back!
