When you say that you're getting "terrible armor" - does this mean you're getting low stat rolls, or elemental affinities that don't match the mods you wish to use?
If this is a stat roll issue, what are the values you're currently seeing, and from what sources?
Thanks!

World drops are always garbage...

A perfect example of how your Armor 2.0 system sucks is on my Hunter. I have a 64 stat roll set of gloves MW from the dungeon. Guess what they are solar. So they are IMMEDIATELY trash because I cannot run HC reloaded in them and help the terrible reload speed and my near God Roll Old Fashon I just got. Otherwise that weapon is useless because I can make a sandwich before it reloads. You’re restrictions fro Armor 2.0 and the lack of player agency to get high stat rolls with the proper affinity (that shouldn’t be present in the first place) ruins the experience from the ground up.

Hes an idiot. He just damage controls the forums. Useless

Raid gear, iron banner, exotics should be max stats for that item drop. Generic gear needs to have better odds at higher stat rolls. We need mods to be neutral no affinity or give us an item to change the affinity of the gear. Seasonal mod slot should be activity mod slot, I should be able to slot any activity mod on the fly. While I am here universal ornaments for all gear acquired stop hindering our fashion lol. Thanks for your consideration.

I'm still using the same helmet from BEFORE armor 2.0 because I haven't found one with better stats yet. The new armor rolls with garbage stats. Honestly, you guys need to stop reinventing the wheel every year. We usually spend the rest of that year trying to get you to fix it. Then you just change it all again!

Edited by Reichlyn: 12/20/2019 12:08:25 PMNo the big issue is hindering certain mods to certain affinities. It's just annoying and unnecessary. Most importantly though for me personally, and I know many agree, is making special mod slots that only thr newest gear has. It's just dumb. Make ALL armor have a special slot and ALL special mods (seasonal mods) can go into them.

The question at hand is thier is no armor with high static rolls unles u do the raid or wait for ib....then to use that armor with high static rolls need to be brought up to masterwork ,which you all know at bungie the cost to do......so really most will just continue using old armor without new mods! Thank u bungie my clan once again is barely active!

I think it's obvious that the answer is both. You could eliminate one half that problem from the equation entirely, but we know you won't. And that we shouldn't have to play 'end game' content only, once a week, to get a chance at a decent stat roll on armor. In D1 it was possible two max out two stats and have a third trailing immediately behind, ergo, in D2 I expect to be able to max out four stats with two trailing immediately behind, with a wide variety of activities and vendors that provide decently rolled gear.

The mods don't seem to work well in this season, not to mention it just seems we take damage harder, meaning we are low health in 1-2 hits. Not a fan of the mod system, it's just too clunky and and cumbersome But the Summit wanted this so we got it, Joy!
-
If we really need to spell these issues out for you then I don't really know what to say. If you don't see a problem in this system then you're not playing the game. If you're not playing the game how are you supposed to be managing the community and their needs?

Just drop D2 and the Season BS, Damn bring back D1 if you have to everything else is reskinned might as well make it D1 stuff cause we all know that was a better game

The Armor still looks ugly on warlocks! Can we please have d1 styled back for warlocks. Kings fall and Crotas end offered the best aesthetically pleasing armor!

Edited by Delta Bear 010: 12/20/2019 5:15:13 AMI think the bigger problem is that everyone spent the last several weeks farming armors they like just to find out the new mods dont work on their armor and so they have to now farm new armor for the season. Also a lot of the new mods use a lot of energy to slot making them not worthwhile. Finally seasonal mods shouldn't have elemental affiliations especially you want us to grind new armor every 3 months.

Dear dmg04. I hope you have a good back up plan.
-
Or even a plan c.
-
All of the above, plus armor being left out after each season is not good.
-
Whoa he finally wrote back. Give this man an award.
-
U mean 1 or 3 energy basis Yeah again with the bs

Just read the other threads about this subject. If Bungie was aiming at some target, they missed it so far they just killed an endangered panda at the opposite side they aimed at.

My thought exactly same. DMG Knows. We explained again and again and again.
