This is a VIDEO GAME. You want someone's life ruined because you don't get new shooty bang-bangs every single week? You think Bungie is screwing people out of money? IT. IS. A. VIDEO. GAME. You are literally CHOOSING to spend your money on this content. You have NO idea what goes into making, producing, designing, launching, and maintaining a live game, especially one with the scope and scale of Destiny. Jesus I bet you people put in the absolute minimal effort at your job and then complain that your company is out to get you. You all need to get some perspective and grow up man, these are video games, leisure products, luxuries. You aren't entitled to them. You have the good fortune to afford a system, an internet connection, and enough money to pay your electricity bill to even play games. Constructive Criticism is one thing, but blind hatred and harassment is another thing entirely. You wonder why you have this idea that Bungie only listens to streamers? Because streamers like Datto and Say No To Rage have mature and rational expectations of the game. Their insight is listened to because they aren't coming onto the forums and calling Bungie "wicked scum" or "money hungry" or "incompetent." Call me a Bungie fanboy, I wear that badge with pride. I choose to spend money on this product because this game has given me more enjoyment-per-dollar than ANY other product. Yes, there are slower times, and yes, it is totally possible to put Destiny away for a bit and enjoy other games, but some of you treat this game like it's your job, and yet you are barely showing up to work. "There's nothing to do!" "I couldn't finish my title in time! I have a life and job!" "Vex Offensive was awful! Give us more content like Menagerie!" "The Sundial is just re-skinned Menagerie!" "All these weapons are reskins!" "No vault increase? What am I supposed to do with all these weapons I'm hoarding?" "Bungie needs to be more transparent!" "Wow, that sure is a lot of bugs that Bungie is telling us about before this content is released." "Bungie is scummy, using FOMO to psychologically manipulate players." "This game is dead, I'm leaving this game forever (which really just means two weeks)." I know this topic will get some responses from the haters and the spoiled, entitled, I-spent-$60-on-this-game-so-that-means-I-should-get-5-more-years-of-content-for-free thinkers, and then it will probably fade away into obscurity, pushed out of the spotlight by fifteen more "ReSkInNeD CoNtEnT" threads, but I hope at least a few people who realize that this is just a darn game and is meant to be played for fun, can see this post and know that not EVERYONE on these forums is a gigantic walking pile of entitlement. /rant
