I built a PC for the first time about a month ago, and didn't have any problems running Destiny 2 at all. But for the past week or so Destiny 2 has been causing my PC to completely crash at completely random times. I don't get an error code, or even a blue screen. Everything cuts out, my screen turns a shade of pink, and then my monitor losses signal. Sometimes this happens after a few minutes, sometimes it's hours, and one time it happened literally as soon as I launched the game.
I'm also getting massive FPS drops when starting any activity, to the point that I can get sniped in Crucible and never even see the other guy on my screen. After a minute or so, the FPS drops will stop and things will run smooth.
I have updated every single driver, including a BIOS update and the 1.07.29 chipset update for 3rd Gen AMD CPUs. I have tried every single tip that I can find in the Bungie help forums and on Reddit. I've changed multiple settings in the game, in Windows, and in my BIOS. I've tried deleting files and then revalidating those files. I keep getting crashes and FPS drops.
I recognize that I'm a novice when it comes to this, so I'm probably overlooking something simple, but at this point I'm at a complete loss. Hopefully someone will have some insights.
