Infusing duplicates broken
I can no longer infuse duplicate items for 1k glimmer. The game expects me to use an upgrade module. This is broken. Please fix.

It happens in 2 instances: I've seen this when infusing seasonal armor (Dreambane or Substitutional Alloy). I've seen this when you try infusing random roll legendary weapons into fixed roll versions of the same weapon (or vice versa). In the above cases you'll be using infusion cores instead of 1000 glimmer.

I did it twice yesterday (weapons) - was still working then?!? (obviously it has to be exactly the same item to be able to do it without the cost of an upgrade module - but it can be different random rolls).

At least the good news is that this doesn’t seem to be an issue affecting everyone.

Youre probably trying to put a Year 2 into a year 3 or something like that.

It’s possible those pieces shouldn’t even exist in my inventory in the game. So that could be the bug right there. Maybe I should try breaking them down for shards instead...

Just a couple of normal purple items that were sitting in my inventory when I started the game. Two dup helmets and two dup gauntlets. Getting the same problem with both.

Are you trying to infuse a y2 exotic into one you just got from y3? If so, that’s why. They’re “different”
