  • <A pre-Golden Age myth.>

  • Just because he’s a myth doesn’t mean he can’t be real. We knew about the hive during the golden age and we knew about the vex.

  • <And we didn't before then, which was when Nezarec was conceived. The Hive were a very late GA discovery, and were found by accident. Not a single record of them exists from that time except from the First Light crew as they died in the caves. Their discovery wasn't even related to the K1 researchers, who found a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT paracausal force around the same area. The Vex we knew about because their architecture was all over other planets. However, our findings of them were still dated during the Golden Age, not before.>

  • Remember that the Pyramid ship was there Pre-Golden Age. The Myth of Nezarec is a little more believable.

  • <Perhaps so, but I will still discount it until proven otherwise.>

  • I don’t know if you’re working on a project rn or any real life occupations but a lore post recounting the events of K1 and the First Light researchers would be a great help as I am very interested in it but have a hard time getting my head round it

  • Okay, but the Hive and Vex weren’t myths.

  • There’s a picture of the darkness in caydes booklet and it looks very similar to the phantoms on the moon. I think that Nezirac is a real character and is tied to the darkness especially when I need to check but the lore tab for Nezirac mentions pyramids. The strike dialogue we seen in the strike gameplay where you have to kill crotas daughter mentions a pyramid. Is it possible that a crashed pyramid ship from the collapse is buried in the moon. Did eris awake the darkness in the ship and now nezirac has raised our past enemies. Nezirac is the final god of pain so by raising our past to haunt us doesn’t that cause pain and trauma when you have to watch as the darkness resurrects your past?

  • <Those things are of pure Darkness. The Nightmares we see are made with that power, but are replicants, not pure Dark. Also, you're right about the pyramid, but wrong about the date. It didn't crash after the Collapse, in fact, it didn't crash at all.>

  • You’re making total, random assumptions that have literally no backing.

  • Why would bungie make a lore tab about a pre golden age myth? This is the only one we have heard of. It just seems odd to tell a pre golden age myth like this.

  • What’s odd about it? Literally nothing. You’re reaching way too far, dawg. Nezarec is literally nothing more than some kinda neat old world lore.

  • To me it feels out of place I don’t know why

  • There’s nothing out of place about it. People need to stop thinking so much about some simple lore that’s literally there just to be interesting.
